Edward Shearmur to Score ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days’

Edward Shearmur is set to score the upcoming family movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. The movie is directed by David Bowers (Flushed Away) who also directed the previous Wimpy Kid installment and stars Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, Rachael Harris and Steve Zahn who are all reprising their roles from the previous films. Nina Jacobson (The Hunger Games) and Bradford Simpson are producing the project. The film marks the composer’s second score for the franchise following last year’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules.
