Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Nemesis. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by the music collective 1500 or Nothin (which includes Grammy Award-winning producer/instrumentalist Larrance Dopson/Rance and singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy). ‘Eva Lasting’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s Columbian original series Eva Lasting (La Primera Vez). The album features selections of the original score and songs from the show’s fourth season composed by Santiago Uribe (Always a Witch, Savage Rhythm), Juan Felipe Uribe (Medusa, Los Billis), Runa and paccino. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The label has previously released three albums featuring the music from Season 1 in 2023, Season 2 in 2024 and Season 3 last year. Eva Lasting is created by Dago García and stars Emmanuel Restrepo, Francisca Estevez Navas, Sergio Palau, Julián Cerati, Brandon Figueredo, Mateo García, Verónica Orozco, Santiago Alarcón, Sara Pinzón and Chichila Navia.
‘Devil May Cry’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original anime series Devil May Cry. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by the synthwave duo Power Glove (Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Trials of the Blood Dragon). Also included is Papa Roach’s & Hanumankind’s See U in Hell (previously released as a digital single), a song by Casey Edwards & Amira Elfeky (listen to the track below), as well as several remixes by Power Glove. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring the music from Season 1 last year. Devil May Cry is created by Adi Shankar based on the hit video game franchise and stars Johnny Yong Bosch, Scout Taylor-Compton, Kevin Conroy, Hoon Lee and Chris Coppola.
‘Sunday Best’ Soundtrack Released
Bullet Bones Danger has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Sunday Best: The Untold Story of Ed Sullivan. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bullet Shields (aka Ryan Shields) (Aviva, Reggie, Creating a Character: The Moni Yakim Legacy). Sunday Best is directed by Sacha Jenkins and recounts Sullivan’s show business career with an emphasis on his support of Black American artists, including his friendship with Bill Robinson. The movie traces the rise of the greatest names in music through the barrier-breaking host that introduced them to the world, featuring some of the first-ever TV performances from artists such as Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, The Jackson 5,James Brown, Nat King Cole, among others.
Christopher Lennertz Scoring Tim Story’s ’72 Hours’
Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Identity Thief, Baywatch, Supernatural) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film 72 Hours. The movie is directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four, Barbershop) and stars Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, Kevin Dunn, Zach Cherry, as well as Teyana Taylor and Andy Garcia. The comedy follows a 40-year-old exec who joins a crew of 20-somethings on a wild three-day bachelor party to save his career after he’s mistakenly added to their group text.
‘Everyone Is Doing Great’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Scary Scary Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy series Everyone Is Doing Great. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Michael Grubbs. Also included are songs by Your Future Ghost, promqueen, Christopher Daschke and Michael Wyatt. Legacy Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Boroughs. The album features twenty songs from the show, including Bruce Springsteen’s Thunder Road & Born to Run, as well as classic tracks from Santana, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Bob Seger, Earth Wind & Fire, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Tina Turner, Heart, Bill Withers & others.
