Atlantic Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the action sports drama F1. The album features songs by artists such as Ed Sheeran, RAYE, Tate McRae, Burna Boy, ROSÉ, Dom Dolla, Roddy Rich, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Myke Towers, Sexyy Red, Madison Beer, Peggy Gou & others. F1 The Album will be released digitally and physically (on CD, vinyl and cassette) on June 27. Visit Amazon to pre-order and the soundtrack in all four formats. A first song (Lose My Mind produced by Ryan Tedder, performed by Don Toliver feat. Doja Cat and featuring a sample of the F1 Movie Theme by the film’s composer Hans Zimmer) has already been released as a digital single (check out the official music video after the jump). F1 is directed by Joseph Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Kim Bodnia.

Hans Zimmer to Score Joseph Kosinski’s ‘F1’
Hans Zimmer is set to score the upcoming sports action drama F1. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy, Oblivion) and stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Sarah Niles and Samson Kayo. The movie, which is made in collaboration with Formula 1 and has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends, follows a former driver who returns to Formula 1 at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. Ehren Kruger (The Ring, Arlington Road) wrote the screenplay.
‘Spiderhead’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Netflix Music has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Spiderhead. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, Only the Brave). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 17 and will be available to stream/download here. A vinyl edition is also in the works. ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Music Team Credits Revealed
The full music team credits for Joseph Kosinksi’s Top Gun: Maverick have been revealed. In addition to Harold Faltermeyer (who scored the original 1986 Top Gun), Lady Gaga (who contributed the original song Hold My Hand), Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe (who is credited as score producer and is believed to have been heavily involved in the composition of the film’s score) whose names appear in the film’s opening credits sequence, the full credits include such names as T Bone Burnett (True Detective, Inside Llewyn Davis), Ryan Tedder (who co-wrote OneRepublic’s original song I Ain’t Worried), former KCRW music director/host Jason Bentley and music supervisor Kathy Nelson as music consultants, David Fleming (Hillbilly Elegy, The Unforgivable), Andrew Kawczynski (Chappie, Sky Hunters) & Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, Army of Thieves) as additional music composers, guitarist Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats, Asia, The Young Punx) as score consultant and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith as a musician.

Interscope Records has released the original song I Ain’t Worried from the action drama Top Gun:Maverick. The track written by Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, Tyler Spry, John Eriksson, Peter Morén & Björn Yttling and performed by OneRepublic and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Joseph Trapanese to Score Joseph Kosinski’s ‘Escape from Spiderhead’
Composer Joseph Trapanese (Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption, Arctic) is reteaming with director Joseph Kosinski on the upcoming Netflix original film Escape from Spiderhead. The sci-fi movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett is set in the near future and revolves around two convicts who confront their pasts in a facility run by a visionary who gives them emotion-altering drugs. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) wrote the screenplay based on a short story by George Saunders.
‘TRON: Legacy’ The Complete Edition Soundtrack Released
Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack album for the 2010 sci-fi movie TRON: Legacy directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Garrett Hedlund, Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. The album features the film’s original music by Daft Punk, including the 22 tracks from the original soundtrack album, as well as all bonus tracks from the vinyl edition and the various digital special editions, some of which were only available for a limited time. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also listen to audio clips.
Hans Zimmer & Harold Faltermeyer to Score ‘Top Gun: Maverick’
Tom Cruise revealed in a video message at this yesterday’s Hollywood in Vienna concert that Hans Zimmer will be scoring the upcoming action drama Top Gun: Maverick. Hans-Zimmer.com has confirmed that the composer will be collaborating with Harold Faltermeyer who composed the music for Tony Scott’s 1986 original film. Cruise has previously mentioned that Faltermeyer’s music will be featured in the sequel. Top Gun: Maverick is directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, Tron Legacy) and stars Cruise, alongside Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez and Monica Barbaro.
