Soundtrack EP for Hulu/Disney+ Series ‘Connect’ Released
WM Korea has released a soundtrack EP for the South Korean Disney+/Hulu original series Connect. The 6-track EP features six versions of the song My Noise written by Ha Beom Seok & Sunwoojunga. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Connect is directed by Miike Takashi and stars Jung Haein, Ko Kyungpyo and Kim Hyejun. The 6-part thriller follows a new type of immortal human known as ‘Connect’, who is kidnapped by a gang of organ harvesters that are determined to take his eyes and, after he is able to escape with one eye remaining, soon discovers that he can still see out of his missing eye, which is now being used by a serial killer who has been terrorizing the residents of Seoul.
Twin Shadow Scoring FX’s ‘Kindred’
Singer/songwriter Twin Shadow (aka George Lewis Jr.) has made his television scoring debut on the new FX original series Kindred. The show is developed by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and stars Mallori Johnson, Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Gayle Rankin, Austin Smith, Sophina Brown, David Alexander Kaplan and Sheria Irving. The drama is based on Octavia E. Butler’s bestselling novel and follows a young Black woman who begins to settle in her new home and finds herself being pulled back and forth in time, emerging at a nineteenth-century plantation and confronting secrets she never knew ran through her blood.
Asher Angel’s Original Song ‘One on One’ from Hulu’s ‘Darby and the Dead’ Released
Hollywood Records has released the original song One on One from the Hulu original movie Darby and the Dead. The track is co-written (with Fallon King & Kenneth “KP” Paige) and performed by Asher Angel (who also stars in the film) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. Darby and the Dead is directed by Silas Howard and also stars Riele Downs, Auli’i Cravalho, Chosen Jacobs, Wayne Knight, Derek Luke and Tony Danza.
Ellen Reid Scoring Sarah Adina Smith’s Hulu Film ‘The Drop’
Composer Ellen Reid is reuniting with director Sarah Adina Smith on the upcoming comedy The Drop. The film starring Anna Konkle, Jermaine Fowler, Aparna Nancherla, Jillian Bell, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Jennifer Lafleur, Elisha Henig, Joshua Leonard & Robin Thede follows a happily married couple who face a marriage test when one of them drops a baby during a tropical island wedding. Smith (Looking for Alaska, Goodbye World) & Leonard also co-wrote the screenplay.

The show is created by Robert Siegel (Pam & Tommy, The Wrestler) and stars Kumail Nanjiani, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis, Annaleigh Ashford, as well as Quentin Plair, Robin de Jesús, Spencer Boldman, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Andrew Rannells and Dan Stevens. The 8-part drama tells the story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire—and let nothing stand in his way in the process.
