A soundtrack album will be released for the third and final season of the historical drama Borgia. The album features selection from the show’s original score composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy, The Attack, Sitcom) who previously wrote the music for the second season. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 15, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Silva Screen Records has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music for Season 2. Borgia is created by Tom Fontana and stars John Doman, Stanley Weber, Mark Ryder, Isolda Dychauk, Diarmuid Noyes, Assumpta Serna and Marta Gastini. The final season of the show about the Borgia family’s rise to power and subsequent domination of the Papal States during the Renaissance airs this fall in Europe and is expected to premiere in the U.S. on Netflix later this year or in early 2015.

‘Nicholas on Holiday’ Soundtrack Announced
Fidélité Films will release a soundtrack album for the French family comedy sequel Nicholas on Holiday (Les vacances du petit Nicolas), the sequel to the French box office hit Little Nicholas. The album features the film’s original score composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy, The Attack, Just Like a Woman). Also included are tracks by The Pussycat Dolls, Mongo Santamaria, Camelia Jordana. Also featured is the theme from the original movie composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Time Machine). The soundtrack will be released on July 7, 2014. The sequel is based on the third book of Goscinny and Sempé’s classic series and follows Little Nicholas, his parents and Granny as they hit the road heading for the sea and move into the Beau-Rivage Hotel.

Pathe Production will release a soundtrack album for the drama Two Men in Town (La voie de l’ennemi). The album features the film’s original music composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy, Borgia) who previously collaborated with the movie’s director Rachid Bouchareb on Just Like a Woman. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 5, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Two Men in Town stars Forest Whitaker, Harvey Keitel, Brenda Blethyn, Ellen Burstyn and Luis Guzman. The movie follows an ex-convict who gets a second chance, but the local law wants to send him back to prison. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and will be released in France on May 7.
Eric Neveux Scoring ‘Two Men in Town’
Eric Neveux has composed the score for the upcoming drama Two Men in Town. The film is directed by Rachid Bouchareb (Days of Glory) and stars Forest Whitaker, Harvey Keitel, Ellen Burstyn, Brenda Blethyn and Luis Guzman. The movie is based on a novel by and follows an ex-convict who gets a second chance, but the local law wants to send him back to prison. Bouchareb has written the screenplay with Olivier Lorelle (Days of Glory) and novelist Yasmina Khadra (The Attack). Jean Brehat (Outside the Law, The Attack) is producing the project with Allen Bain. The movie marks the French composer’s second major English language feature project following Bouchareb’s drama Just Like a Woman starring Sienna Miller, which opened in the U.S. last year.

Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is Pixar’s animated film sequel Monsters University directed by Dan Scanion and featuring the voice talent of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi Jennifer Tilly, Frank Oz, John Ratzenberger and Kelsey Grammer. The film’s music is composed by Randy Newman who previously scored 2001’s Monsters, Inc. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as track from Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso of the electronic music trio Swedish House Mafia. Also opening wide is the zombie thriller World War Z directed by Marc Forster and starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale and Matthew Fox. The film’s original score is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma). The thriller also features additional music by Matthew Bellamy performed by Muse. Warner Bros. ‘The Attack’ Soundtrack Details
Unkle Productions will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Attack (L’atttentat). The album features the film’s original score composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy, Borgia). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 27, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are available after the jump. The Attack is directed by Ziad Doueiri (West Beirut, Lila Says) and stars Ali Suliman and Reymonde Amsellem. The movie is based on the best-selling book by Yasmina Khadra and follows a Palestinian doctor who discovers uncomfortable truths about his wife following a suicide bombing. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on June 21 by Cohen Media Group.
‘Borgia’ Season 2 Soundtrack Announced
Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the historical drama series Borgia. The album features selections from the music of the show’s second season composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy, Flight of the Storks). The soundtrack will be released overseas on April 29, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release. Borgia is created by Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life On The Street, Oz) and stars John Doman, Stanley Weber, Mark Ryder, Isolda Dychauk, Diarmuid Noyes, Assumpta Serna and Marta Gastini. The series’ second season will begin in 1494, 8 months after the death of Rodrigo Borgia’s eldest son and will chart the meteoric rise of Prince Cesare Borgia as the family endeavors to keep hold of the papacy.
‘Flight of the Storks’ Soundtrack Released
MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series Flight of the Storks (Le vol des cigognes). The album features the series’ original score written by French composer Eric Neveux (Intimacy, Hideaways). The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Flight of the Storks is based on the 1994 novel by Jean-Christophe Grangné and follows a young academic who teams up with an amateur ornithologist to follow storks on their migration to Africa. The EuropaCorp Television production is directed by Jan Kounen (Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky) and stars Rutger Hauer, Harry Treadaway, Perdita Weeks and Clemens Schick. The mini-series recently premiered on Canal+ in France.
Patrick Doyle’s ‘Man to Man’ Score Album Announced
MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack album for Régis Wargnier’s 2005 drama Man to Man. The album includes the score from the film written by Academy Award-nominated composer Patrick Doyle (Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). The music is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.
