Atlantic Records & Warner Bros. Pictures have announced the official soundtrack album for the movie musical In the Heights. The album features the songs from the film, including new original track Home All Summer written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and performed by the film’s stars, Anthony Ramos, Leslie Grace and Marc Anthony. The soundtrack, which is produced by Alex Lacamoire, Bill Sherman, Miranda & Greg Wells, will be released on June 11, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The first song from the record (In The Heights) will already be available to stream this Friday, April 23. Listen to the track after the below. In the Heights is directed by Jon M. Warp Records has released the opening theme and closing credits music from the new Netflix anime series Yasuke. Black Gold (feat. Thundercat) and Between Memories (feat. Niki Randa) are written by the show’s composer Flying Lotus and are now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music outlets. Yasuke is created by LeSean Thomas and stars LaKeith Stanfield as the voice of the title character, alongside Takehiro Hira, Maya Tanida, Ian Chen, Gwendoline Yeo, Ming-Na Wen, Noshir Dalal, Paul Nakauchi, Darren Criss and Dia Frampton. The movie is inspired by the short story The Prize by Alan Zweibel (The Story of Us, North) and centers on the unlikely friendship between a veteran comedy writer and a New York street singer.
