Three new movies have opened in theaters nationwide this past Wednesday:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Encanto directed by Byron Howard & Jared Bush and starring Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero,Wilmer Valderrama, Adassa, Diane Guerrero, Jessica Darrow, Angie Cepeda, Rhenzy Feliz, Mauro Castillo and Carolina Gaitan. The film’s original score is composed by Germaine Franco (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Dope, Tag, Little) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Moana, Hamilton, In the Heights) has written the movie’s original songs. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs and score last Friday and a CD version will be coming out next month. Also opening wide is the biographical crime drama House of Gucci directed by Ridley Scott and starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Reeve Carney, Jack Huston, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek and Al Pacino. Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian, Shrek, Mulan, Kingdom of Heaven, Man on Fire, The Town) has composed the film’s original score. Interscope Records & Decca Records are set to release a soundtrack album according to the movie’s end credits, but no announcement has been made yet. Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Super Crooks’ to Be Released

Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix anime series Super Crooks. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by DJ/record producer Towa Tai (Big Man Japan). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 27 and will be available to stream/download here. A CD and vinyl edition will be released by Columbia Records Japan on December 10 and is available to order as an import on Amazon. Super Crooks is written by Dai Sato based on the graphic novel of the same name by Mark Millar and artist Leinil Yu, directed by Motonobu Hori and produced by Japanese anime studio bones. RCA Records has released a soundtrack EP for the DreamWorks Animation’s special Trolls Holiday in Harmony. The 5-track EP features two original songs (Together Now & Tiny’s Journey) from the special co-written and produced by composer Joseph Shirley (The Book of Boba Fett, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Bad Trip, Fairfax) and performed by the project’s voice cast, as well as a cover of Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Remastered and Expanded ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ & ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ Soundtracks Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1971 musical comedy Fiddler on the Roof directed by Norman Jewison and starring Topol, Norma Crane, Leonard Frey, Paul Mann and Molly Picon. The album features the film’s music adapted and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List, Jaws, Home Alone) who received his first Academy Award for his work on the project. The 3-CD set, which is limited to 5,000 copies, includes the remastered original soundtrack recording program on the first disc, alternate versions on the second disc and early “playback” versions of the songs, as well as selections of Williams’ underscore and other musical material released for the first time on the third disc. The 50th Anniversary Edition will be available to purchase on the label’s official website on Tuesday, November 30.
