The details of the soundtrack album for Spike Lee’s crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest have been announced. The album curated by Lee features the music from the film, including Aiyana-Lee’s title song (which has already been released as a digital single today), as well as new songs by ASAP Rocky (who also stars in the movie) and Jensen McRae. Also included are selections of Howard Drossin’s original score from the film, as well as original tracks by Scotland’s piano outfit Fergus McCreadie Trio, which blend traditional Scottish folk music with contemporary jazz. The soundtrack will released digitally on August 15 by A24 Music and will be available to stream/download Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously reported, the label is releasing a full score album, as well as an EP featuring Fergus McCreadie Trio’s tracks on the same day (click here to pre-order). Singer/songwriter Charles Watson (of the indie pop/rock duo Slow Club) (Youngstown) and Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Lisa Frankenstein, Little Fires Everywhere, My Oxford Year, KAOS, The Offer, Physical, Lady Chatterley’s Lover) are reuniting with director Pete Ohs on the upcoming indie drama Erupcja. The film is directed by Ohs (Jethica) and stars Lena Góra, Charli xcx, Will Madden, Agata Trzebuchowska and Jeremy O. Harris . Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French adventure comedy No Signal! (Y’a pas de réseau). The album features the film’s original score composed by Alexis Rault (The Swallows of Kabul, Being 17, Meet the Leroys, Memories, Golden Years). Sacred Bones Records will release new soundtrack albums for the 2021 & 2022 slasher sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Judy Greer, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, Anthony Michael Hall, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards. The album features the expanded original scores from the second and third installment in Blumhouse’s Halloween trilogy composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies, including previously unreleased music from.
