Daniel Wohl (Project Blue BookSearch Party, The Weekend Away, The Stand InThey’ll Love Me When I’m Dead) has recently been scoring the upcoming drama On the Come Up. The film marks the directorial debut of actress Sanaa Lathan and stars Jamila C. Gray, Lathan herself, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Lil Yachty, Method Man, Mike Epps, GaTa, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Titus Makin Jr. and Michael Anthony Cooper Jr. The movie is based on the best-selling YA novel by Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give) and follows a young black girl who attempts to take the battle rap scene by storm in order to do right by the legacy of her father and to help her family climb out of poverty. Walt Disney Records has released the new song Glow Webs Glow from the second season of the Disney Junior animated series Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The track is written and performed by the show’s Grammy Award-nominated composer/songwriter Patrick Stump (of Fall Out Boy) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The album features the original music from the first Attack of the Killer Tomatoes sequel composed by Rick Patterson (Happy Hour, Killer Tomatoes Strike Back!, Killer Tomatoes Eat France!).
