Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish horror thriller Crazy Old Lady (Vieja Loca). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Pedro Osuna (Argentina, 1985, Every Minute Counts ). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. The film’s original music is composed by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Challengers, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) as Nine Inch Nails. Interscope Records & The Null Corporation have released a soundtrack album featuring the band’s score and songs last month. Also opening nationwide this weekend is the crime comedy drama Roofman directed by Derek Cianfrance and starring Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst, Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang and Peter Dinklage. Christopher Bear (of the rock band Grizzly Bear) (Past Lives, High Maintenance, Adults, Mother, Couch, Swallowed, The Passenger) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album will be released by Varese Sarabande according to the movie’s end credits, but no details have been announced yet. Sparks & Shadows Records has released a digital single featuring two songs from the Deathstalker reboot. The soundtrack includes the film’s title song (in two different versions) featuring Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash leading an all-star band comprised of singer Brendan McCreary, original Deathstalker II composer Chuck Cirino, drummer Gene “The Atomic Clock” Hoglan, bassist Pete Griffin and guitarist Omer Ben-Zvi, as well as the song Walking Alone by Danish actress and singer/songwriter Nina Bergman and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Nimoy. Walt Disney Records has released the original song Zoo from Walt Disney Pictures Animation’s sequel Zootopia 2. The track is co-written (with Ed Sheeran & Blake Slatkin), -produced (with Slatkin, Alex (A.C.) Castillo & Sheeran) and performed by Shakira and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A 7″ single on purple translucent glitter vinyl will be released on November 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A full soundtrack album featuring the song and 23 tracks of Michael Giacchino’s original score will also be coming out on the same day.
