The nominations for the 66th Grammy Awards have been announced. The 2024 Grammys will take place on Sunday, February 4, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Here are the nominations in the film music-related categories:

‘Your Lucky Day’ Soundtrack Album Released

Matt Hutchinson (Tuscaloosa, Earth to Ned) has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Your Lucky Day. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Your Lucky Day is written and directed by Dan Brown and stars Angus Cloud, Elliot Knight, Jessica Garza, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Sterling Beaumon, Jason Wiles, Spencer Garrett, Sebastian Sozzi and Jason O’Mara. The movie centers on a dispute over a winning lottery ticket that turns into a deadly hostage situation, leaving the witnesses to decide exactly how far they’ll go for a cut of the prize money. Kevin Lax (The First Purge, Burning Sands, Juanita) and Robert Lydecker (Lethal Weapon, Iron Fist, Sleepy Hollow) have teamed up to score the upcoming Netflix animated film Orion and the Dark. The movie is directed by Sean Charmatz (Trolls Holiday in Harmony) and features the voice talent of Jacob Tremblay and Paul Walter Hauser. The DreamWorks Animation production is based on the book of the same title by Emma Yarlett and tells the story of an average elementary school kid who is afraid of many things, including the dark, when he is whisked onto a whirlwind adventure that might just cure him of his adolescent fears. ‘Romancero’ Soundtrack Album Released

Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Amazon original series Romancero. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Resurrection, Raw, Beast, A Field in England, Sightseers). The film directed by Dave Green (Earth to Echo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) based on the Looney Tunes characters and the New Yorker humor article of the same title by Ian Frazier and starring John Cena, Will Forte & Lana Condor was originally set to be released in theaters by Warner Bros.
