Sony Music Entertainment Middle East has released the official anthem for the 2024 Esports World Cup, the first edition of a multi-genre esports competition, replacing the Gamers8 festival, run by the Esports World Cup Foundation The track, entitled Dare to Triumph, is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic dramedy Fly Me to the Moon directed by Greg Berlanti and starring Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Ray Romano, Jim Rash, Woody Harrelson, Anna Garcia, Nick Dillenburg and Colin Woodell. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Enola Holmes, Ocean’s 8, The Trial of the Chicago 7, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). Platoon has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the horror thriller Longlegs written and directed by Osgood Perkins and starring Maika Monroe, Nicolas Cage, Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt and Kiernan Shipka. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well two tracks by Eugenio Battaglia and a song by Melody Carrillo & Elizabeth Wight today. Marvin Miller to Score Ilker Catak’s ‘Yellow Letters’

Marvin Miller (Balloon, Jim Button and the Wild 13, Inside Greenpeace) has signed on to score the upcoming German/Turkish drama Yellow Letters. The film is directed by Ilker Çatak and stars Özgü Namal, Tansu Bicer and Leyla Cabas. The movie follows a famous actress and a professor at the university in Ankara who both lose their jobs and – together with their 13-year old daughter – travel to the professor’s parents in Istanbul, where they have to redefine their way of life. Hasbro has released a soundtrack album for the superhero TV series Power Rangers Dino Fury. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Bert Selen (Raven’s Home, Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, Rules of Engagement, Mystery Girls, Fast Layne). Also included is an extended version of the Dino Fury theme song co-written and performed by the composer (listen to the track after the jump). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Power Rangers Dino Fury is created by Haim Saban and stars Russell Curry, Hunter Deno, Kai Moya, Chance Perez, Tessa Rao, Shavaughn Ruakere, Jordon Fite and Blair Strang. Republic Records: Kids & Family and pocket.watch have announced a soundtrack album for the family adventure Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure. The album features the songs from the film, including a cover version of Imagine Dragons’ Thunder by Pentatonix (already available as a digital single now), as well as tracks by Ryan’s World, Qai Qai, MusicClubKids! and Toys and Colors. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Saregama India has released the official score album for the Indian sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The album features the film’s original score composed by Santhosh Narayanan (Bairavaa, Penguin, Gypsy). Juan Cortés Arango (Anywhere with You, Back to Lyla, Mala fortuna) has announced a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Funny Birds (Au fil des saisons). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released on all major digital music platforms on August 23. Cortés Arango’s key collaborators on the project include percussionist Andrew Maguire, pianists Tiffany Romanlouk and Ted Case, as well as fellow orchestrator Gustavo Gini.
