Lee Mendelson Film Productions will a new soundtrack for the 1975 animated television holiday special Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown created by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Phil Roman. The album features the premiere release of complete score from the thirteenth Peanuts special composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Boy Named Charlie Brown), including never-before-heard bonus and alternate tracks. Music Box Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2006 French drama Le Grand Meaulnes co-written and directed by Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe, based on the novel of the same name by Alain-Fournierand starring Nicolas Duvauchelle, Jean-Baptiste Maunier and Clémence Poésy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (The Tenant, Tess, Quest for Fire, Lord of the Flies, Ghost Story, Pirates, Barocco, Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud) and performed by the Pro Arte Orchestra, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
