Adam Berry has recently scored two NBC comedy pilots. First up is Susan 313 created by Sarah Silverman who stars in the show as a woman readjusting to the single life after a decade-long live-in relationship. The comedy is loosely based on Silverman’s life and co-stars Jeff Goldblum, Tig Notaro, Ken Leung, Harris Wittels and June Raphael. Ken Kwapis (He’s Just Not That Into You) has directed the pilot and is also executive producing the project with Silverman, Dan Sterling, as well as Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo for Imagine Entertainment (24, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights). Silverman has also co-written the script with Sterling and Jon Schroeder. The composer has previously scored the comedian’s Comedy Central series The Sarah Silverman Project. Sony Classical to Release James Horner’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Score

The first TV spot for the upcoming comic book adaptation of The Amazing Spider-Man reveals that Sony Classical will be releasing the score album for the reboot of the film series. The film’s music is composed by James Horner. No more details about the soundtrack release are currently available, but check back on this site for up-to-date information on one of the most anticipated scores of the summer. The Amazing Spider-Man is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard, as well as Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Denis Leary. Nick Urata has signed on to score the upcoming dark comedy Arthur Newman, Golf Pro. The film is directed by commercials director Dante Ariola and stars Colin Firth, Emily Blunt, Anne Heche and Kristin Lehman. The movie centers on a man who hates his job, is estranged from his ex-wife and son, and blew his one shot at living his dream. After staging his own death and buying himself a new identity as “Arthur Newman,” a golf pro, his road trip towards his new life is interrupted by the arrival of a beautiful but fragile woman. Academy Award-nominated writer Becky Johnston (The Prince of Tides, Seven Years in Tibet) has penned the script and is also producing the film with Alisa Tager, Natalie Hill and Brian Oliver (Black Swan, The Ides of March) for Cross Creek Pictures. Mark Mothersbaugh has recently scored the pilot for the CW drama The Carrie Diaries. The project based on the bestselling novel by Candace Bushnell is a prequel to the HBO hit show Sex And The City starring Sarah Jessica Parker, and follows the life of Carrie Bradshaw in the 1980s when she asks her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family while exploring the worlds of high school and Manhattan. The show stars AnnaSophia Robb as Young Carrie, as well as Austin Butler, Katie Findlay, Freeman Agyeman, Matt Letscher, Chloe Bridges, Stefania Owen and Ellen Wong. The pilot is written by Amy Harris (Gossip Girl) who is executive producing the show with Bushnell, Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage (The O.C.) and Len Goldstein for Fake Empire. Alan Silvestri has revealed in a recent interview with Hollywood.com that he is attached to score Dreamworks Animation’s upcoming feature The Croods. The film written and directed by Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicare follows The Croods, an introverted family, who find themselves guided out of their cave into this dynamic world by a resourceful newcomer who may bring more stress than relief to the patriarch of the family. The film’s voice talent includes Ryan Reynolds, Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Emma Stone, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman. The 3D animated feature is produced by Kristine Belson (How to Train Your Dragon) and Jane Hartwell (Shrek). The movie marks Silvestri’s first project for Dreamworks Animation. Christophe Beck is scoring the upcoming comedy The Guilt Trip. The film directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 28 Dresses) stars Seth Rogen as an inventor who invites his overbearing mother, played by Barbra Streisand, on a cross-country trip as he tries to sell his new product while also reuniting her with a lost love. Yvonne Strahovski, Colin Hanks and Adam Scott are co-starring. ‘Piranha 3DD’ Score Album Details

In addition to a soundtrack album featuring the film’s songs, Lakeshore Records will also be releasing the score for the upcoming horror sequel Piranha 3DD. The film’s original music is composed by Elia Cmiral (Ronin, Stigmata). The album will be released digitally on May 22, 2012 and physically on June 19, 2012. Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the horror film sequel Piranha 3DD. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Marcus Latief Scott, Twirl, Automatic Music Explosion, The One & Only’s, All The Right Moves, Sarah Khula, Cellphish and The Limousines.
