‘Fringe’ Season 5 Soundtrack Details

fringe-5Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the fifth season of the Fox sci-fi mystery series Fringe. The album features selections from final season’s original score composed by Chris Tilton. The soundtrack will be released on June 25, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the score after the jump. Fringe created by J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble ended its series run earlier this year. geoff-zanelliGeoff Zanelli has been tapped to score the upcoming drama Louder Than Words. The film is directed by directed by Anthony Fabian (Skin) and stars David Duchovny, Hope Davis, Timothy Hutton, Olivia Steele-Falconer, Xander Berkely, Craig Bierko and Scott Cohen. The movie is based on the true story of grieving parents who used the unexpected death of their young daughter as the impetus to erect a children’s hospital in their daughter’s name where families are welcomed into the healing process. Carroll Cartwright (What Maisie Knew, Where the Money Is) wrote the screenplay and Anthony Mastromauro (Beer League) is producing the project for Identity Films. bling-ringDef Jam Recordings will release the official soundtrack album for the indie drama The Bling Ring. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Sleigh Bells, M.I.A., 2 Chainz, Kanye West, deadmau5, Phoenix, Frank Ocean, Rick Ross (feat. Lil Wayne) and Azealia Banks. Also included is a suite from the movie’s score composed by Brian Reitzell (Friday Night Lights) and Daniel Lopatin. The soundtrack will be released on June 11, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Bling Ring is written and directed by Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation) and stars Emma Watson, Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga, Claire Julien, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Georgia Rock and Gavin Rossdale. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream3:10 to Yuma, The Hurt Locker). The soundtrack will be released on June 18, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album will also be released on Vinyl on July 16 (click here to pre-order). World War Z is directed by Marc Forster and stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale and Matthew Fox. The film follows an official of the U.N. who is trying to get back to his family as he travels the globe looking for ways to stop the pandemic. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange and Daniel Brühl as Daniel Domscheit-Berg, as well as Laura Linney, Anthony Mackie, David Thewlis, Peter Capaldi, Dan Stevens, Alicia Vikander and Carice van Houten. The movie chronicles the early days of WikiLeaks, culminating in the release of a series of controversial and history changing information leaks. Josh Singer (Fringe, The West Wing) wrote the screenplay based on Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website by Daniel Domscheit-Berg and WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy by David Leigh and Luke Harding. masters-of-sexMichael Penn has been hired to score the upcoming Showtime original series Masters of Sex. The show is created by Michelle Ashford (The Pacific) and stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Caitlin Fitzgerald, Nicholas D’Agosto and Teddy Sears are co-starring and Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale also appear in the pilot. The series is an adaptation of Thomas Maier’s book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love and chronicles Masters’ and Johnson’s unusual lives, romance and pop culture trajectory. The Heat is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) and stars Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, Demian Bichir, Marlon Wayans and Michael Rapaport. back-in-the-gameNick Urata has composed the score for the pilot of the upcoming ABC comedy Back in the Game. The show is created by Mark and Robb Cullen (Cop Out, Las Vegas) and stars Maggie Lawson, James Caan, Lenora Crichlow, Griffin Gluck, Ben Koldyke, Kennedy Waite, J.J. Totah and Cooper Roth. The series follows a single mother who temporarily moves in with her estranged father and reluctantly starts coaching her son’s underdog little league team and is drawn back into the world of sports she vowed to leave behind.
