Luc Besson has announced on Twitter that Alexandre Desplat will compose the music for the upcoming sci-fi epic Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The film stars Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Clive Owen, Sam Spruell, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, Herbie Hancock and John Goodman. The movie is based on Pierre Christin’s French sci-fi comic series Valérian and Laureline and follows a pair of 28th century agents who guard against temporal paradoxes at a time when humans can travel through space and time. Ben Decter and Jeff Russo are the new composers of the Fox drama Lucifer. The show developed by Tom Kapinos based on the DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth & Mike Dringenberg stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro and Scarlett Estevez. The series revolves around the Lord of Hell who helps the LAPD punish criminals. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1956 epic The Ten Commandments directed by Cecil B. DeMille and starring Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Edward G. Robinson, Anne Baxter, John Derek and Vincent Price. The 60th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection features the film’s original music composed by Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Airplane!, Ghostbusters, Far from Heaven). Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series. Among the titles is a deluxe edition soundtrack for Guillermo del Toro’s 2004 feature Hellboy starring Ron Perlman, John Hurt, Selma Blair and Doug Jones. The 2-CD set features the expanded score from the film composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, World War Z, Scream series, The Hurt Locker), including more than an hour of previously unreleased music.. Frederik Wiedmann has recently recorded his score for the upcoming thriller Vengeance: A Love Story. The film is directed by Johnny Martin and stars Nicolas Cage, Don Johnson, Deborah Kara Unger, Anna Hutchison and Talitha Bateman. The movie revolves around a little girl who flags down a Niagara Falls Police Detective after her mother has been brutally raped by four meth heads. John Mankiewicz (House of Cards) has written the screenplay based on Joyce Carol Oates’ 2003 novel Rape: A Love Story. Sub Pop Records to Release ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Soundtrack

Sub Pop Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers featuring the songs from the show. The album is set to be released later this fall, but four advance tracks, including the comedy’s theme song, as well as the songs Electric Love, Bad Stuff Happens in the Bathroom and St. Vincent’s cover of Bad Girls will be available to download this coming Tuesday, September 20. Check back on this page for the details of the full album. Bob’s Burgers created by Louren Bouchard and featuring the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal follows Bob Belcher and his wife and three kids who try to run their last hope of holding the family together, which is running Bob’s dream restaurant. Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Verhoeven’s psychological thriller Elle. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, American History X, Poldark, The Crying Game) who previously scored the director’s war drama Black Book. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 23, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out later this year. Elle stars Isabelle Huppert, Laurent Lafitte, Anne Consigny, Charles Berling, Virgine Aefira, Judith Magre, Christian Berkel, Jonas Bloquet, Alice Isaaz and Vimila Pons.
