Dave Porter has signed on to score the upcoming drama The Masterpiece (aka The Disaster Artist). The film is directed by James Franco who also stars in the film with Dave Franco, Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Josh Hutcherson, Jacki Weaver, Hannibal Buress, Ari Graynor, Sharon Stone, Alison Brie, Kate Upton, Bryan Cranston, Zoey Deutch and Andrew Santino. The movie takes an in-depth look at the making of the 2003 cult classic The Room – hailed by many as one of the worst movies ever made. Scott Neustadter & Michael H. The details of the soundtrack album for the drama The Light Between Oceans have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Godzilla, The Imitation Game, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows). The soundtrack will be released in the U.S. on September 2, 2016 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Sony Classical is handling the release overseas. The Light Between Oceans is written and directed by Derek Cianfrance and stars Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Rachel Weisz, Bryan Brown and Jack Thompson. The movie is based on the M.L. Stedman novel of the same title and follows a lighthouse keeper and his wife who are faced with a moral dilemma when a boat washes ashore with a dead man and a 2-month-old infant. Leo Birenberg has been hired to score the upcoming Fox comedy Son of Zorn. The show is created by Reed Agnew & Eli Jorne (Wilfred) and starring Johnny Pemberton, Cheryl Hines, Tim Meadows, as well as Jason Sudeikis as the voice of Zorn. The live-action/animated hybrid series follows a legendary warrior who finds that reconnecting with his son and ex-wife, while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. Agnew and Jorne are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Phil Lord & Chris Miller (21/22 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Seth Cohen (The Last Man on Earth). A soundtrack album will be released for the animated feature Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.
