The show is created by Lauren Sequeira and stars Siena Kelly, Babirye Bukilwa, Alisha Bailey, Poppy Lee Friar, Molly Harris, Sam Howard Sneyd, Lucy Cohu, Percelle Ascott, Christopher Jeffers, Jonah Rzeskiewicz and Maimuna Memon. The 6-part fantasy series centers on a young witch with extraordinary powers who desperately seeking a community who can help her understand who she is, when a dangerous figure from her past comes back to haunt her. ‘John Henry’ Soundtrack Album Released

Will Forbes (Name of the Game, Harold & Kumar Go to Amsterdam) has released a soundtrack album for his crime thriller John Henry. The album features the film’s original score written by the director/composer and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other digital music services. Check out Forbes’ main theme after the jump. John Henry is co-written and directed by Forbes and stars Terry Crews, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jamila Valezquez, J.J. Soria and Ken Foree. The movie revolves around a quiet man with a violent history taking care of his aging father in South Los Angeles who must face his past when two immigrant kids on the run from his former gang leader stumble into his life. Andrew Hewitt (The DoubleSubmarine, Villains, The Stanford Prison Experiment, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, A Crooked Somebody) has provided the original score for the upcoming sci-fi thriller It’s What’s Inside. The film is written and directed by Greg Jardin and stars Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Devon Terrell, Nina Bloomgarden, Gavin Leatherwood, Reina Hardisty and David Thompson. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Netflix original series The Law According to Lidia Poët (La Legge di Lidia Poët). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Massimiliano Mechelli (The Binding, A Classic Horror Story, In the Trap). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. The Law According to Lidia Poët is created by Guido Iuculano & Davide Orsini and stars Matilda De Angelis, Pier Luigi Pasino, Eduardo Scarpetta, Sinead Thornhill, Dario Aita and Sara Lazzaro. The period drama is inspired by the true story of Italy’s first female lawyer and follows the title characters as she investigates murders while fighting to practice law. Premiering tomorrow, January 1, is the British Netflix limited series Fool Me Once based on Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel and starring Michelle Keegan, Adeel Akhtar, Joanna Lumley, Richard Armitage, Dino Fetscher, Emmett J. Scanlan and Joe Armstrong. The show’s original music is composed by David Buckley (The SandmanThe Good Wife, Nobody, Papillon, The Stranger, Angel Has Fallen, Greenland, The Forbidden Kingdom) & Luke Richards (Stay Close, Six Four). Premiering on Thursday is the Netflix original series The Brothers Sun created by Brad Falchuk & Byron Wu and starring Michelle Yeoh, Justin Chien,  Sam Song Li, Highdee Kuan and Joon Lee. Nathan Matthew David (Young Rock, Joy Ride, Chang Can DunkDeadly Class, The Last Word, Stephen Curry: Underrated, Slice) and Nick Lee (Grand Crew) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past Friday. ‘Lockerbie’ Soundtrack Album Released

Sky Music has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original documentary series Lockerbie. The album features the show’s original score composed by Tim Atack (The Invention of Lying, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper, Wham!, Don’t Look DownReuniting the Rubins). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Check out the composer’s main title theme after the jump. Lockerbie is directed by John Dower and tells the true story of Britain’s deadliest terrorist atrocity and the most fatal terrorist attack on America before 9/11: the bombing of Pan Am flight 103, when 270 people lost their lives on the night of December 21, 1988. Domino Recording Company will release two new soundtrack albums for the British crime drama series Peaky Blinders. The albums feature selections of the original score from the fifth and sixth season of the show composed by singer/songwriter Anna Calvi. The soundtracks will be released digitally on January 26, 2024. Click here to order the Season 5 album and click here for the Season 6 soundtrack. A 2-CD and double vinyl edition will be coming out on the same day and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Already playing in theaters nationwide since this past Monday is the musical drama The Color Purple directed by Blitz Bazawule and starring Taraji P. Henson, Fantasia, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, H.E.R., Corey Hawkins, Halle Bailey, Ciara, Aunjanue Ellis, Phylicia Pearl Mpasi and Louis Gossett Jr. The film’s original score is composed by Kris Bowers (King Richard, Bridgerton, Secret InvasionGreen Book, Space Jam: A New Legacy,  Haunted Mansion, When They See Us). WaterTower Music & gamma. have released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie (in two different versions) earlier this month and WaterTower has released a separate album featuring Bowers’ score on Monday. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Star Trek: PicardGreen Lantern: The Animated Series, Big Nate, Occupation: Rainfall, Doom: Annihilation). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 1, 2024 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The film is written and directed by Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden (Captain Marvel, Half Nelson) and stars Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, Normani, Jay Ellis, Angus Cloud, Dominique Thorne and Jack Champion. The movie is set in Oakland in 1987 and is comprised of four interconnected stories: teen punks defend their turf against Nazi skinheads, a henchman gets a shot at redemption, a rap duo battles for hip-hop immortality and an NBA All-Star settles the score.
