Jetty Distribution has released a soundtrack album for the Australian drama Jasper Jones. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom, The Rover, 99 Homes). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Jasper Jones is directed by Rachel Perkins and stars Levi Miller, Aaron McGrath, Angourie Rice, Dan Wyllie, Matt Nable, Toni Collette and Hugo Weaving. The movie follows a 14-year-old boy who gets caught up in the aftermath of a murder and small-town racism when a troublemaking boy summons him to the scene of a terrible crime. Three new movies are opening nationwide:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Power Rangers directed by Dean Israelite and starring Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Now You See Me). Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a song by With You. feat. Santigold and Vince Staples. Click here for the full album details.
Also opening wide is the sci-fi thriller Life directed by Daniel Espinosa and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare and Olga Dihovichnaya. Jon Ekstrand (Easy Money, Child 44) has composed the film’s original score. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. The album features the film’s original score composed by Fil Eisler (Empire, Revenge, How to Be Single, Shameless, UnReal). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 31 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. CHiPs is directed by Dax Shepard who also stars in the movie with Michael Pena, Kristen Bell, Rosa Salazar, Adam Brody, Jane Kaczmarek and Vincent D’Onofrio. Walter Mair is composing the music for the upcoming drama 3 Way Junction. The film is directed by Juergen Bollmeyer and stars Tom Sturridge, Stacy Martin and Tommy Flanagan. The movie follows a London architect who travels to the grand dunes of the Namibian Desert to escape, but ends up finding himself stranded alone, desperately waiting for a ride that never comes. Don Bohlinger (The Experiment, Elles) and Jessica Hundley wrote the screenplay. Maggie Monteith (Searching For Sugar Man) is producing the project for Dignity Films, alongside Michael Auret (Young Ones) for Spier Films and Oliver Stoltz (Live, Above All).
