Taylor Gang Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for the crime drama Moses the Black. The album features the original songs from the film by Wiz Khalifa, including collaborations with Juicy J, JMB Bobby Hill and TYuS. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 30 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A first track (Too Blessed to Be Stressed) has already been released as a digital single last Friday and can be checked out after the jump. Moses the Black is written and directed by Yelena Popovic and stars Omar Epps, Wiz Khalifa himself, Quavo and Chukwudi Iwuji. The movie executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson follows a feared gang leader from Chicago’s West Side who was recently released from prison and returns home determined to avenge the murder of his closest friend. Capitol Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Bridgerton. The 6-track EP features the covers from the first part of the show’s fourth season, including Coldplay’s Life In Technicolor, Third Eye Blind’s Never Let You Go  & Paramore’s All I Wanted, all reimagined by Vitamin String Quartet, as well as a a cover version of USHER ft. Pitbull’s DJ Got Us Falling in Love by Strings from Paris, Taylor Swift’s Enchanted covered by Joseph William Morgan and a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s Bad Idea Right? by Caleb Chan. The film is directed by Max Gershberg (Court of Gold) & Jake Rogal (The Last Dance) and tells the story of the “Miracle on Ice,” when the 1980 U.S. Hockey Team beat the USSR in the Olympic semi-finals at the height of the Cold War to bring home a gold medal. The film marks the English language feature debut of Taiwanese director Midi Z and stars Sam Worthington, David Duchovny and Ke-Xi Wu. The movie follows a desperate Westerner’s pursuit of greener pastures in Asia, where greed, ego and rivalry and ultimately spiral into a shocking murder. Midi Z also co-wrote the screenplay with Wu and is producing the project with Anita Gou (The Farewell, Assassination Nation), Tom Heller (Gonzo Girl, Monogamy) and Claudia Tseng.
