Gondwana Records has released a soundtrack album for Joachim Trier’s drama Sentimental Value. The album features the film’s original music composed by Polish pianist, singer and composer Hania Rani (The Lost Flower of Alice Hart,  Rosalie, The Summer Book, I Never CrySubuk). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A limited vinyl edition will be coming out on May 22. Listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Sentimental Value is co-written and directed by Trier and stars Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Elle Fanning. The movie, which has recently been nominated for nine Academy Awards (including Best Picture), follows an estranged father and once-celebrated director eager to reclaim his former glory as he reconnects with his daughters and offers one of them the lead role in his new film. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the survival horror thriller/comedy Send Help directed by Sam Raimi and starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-Man, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Good Will Hunting, Men in Black). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening nationwide is the action thriller Shelter directed by Ric Roman Waugh and staring Jason Statham, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Bill Nighy and Naomi Ackie. David Buckley (The Sandman, Nobody, The Good WifeThe Nice GuysThe Forbidden Kingdom, The Good Fight, The Lincoln Lawyer, Papillon, Jason Bourne) has composed the film’s original music. Lee Mendelson Film Productions will release the first-ever soundtrack album for two classic animated television specials: 1976’s It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brow created by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Phil Roman and 1966’s Charlie Brown’s All Stars! written by Schulz and directed by Bill Melendez. The album features the premiere release of the complete scores from the second and fifteenth (and final) Peanuts specials composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie BrownA Boy Named Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving). The It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown 50th Anniversary Extended Edition & Charlie Brown’s All Stars! 60th Anniversary Edition will be released digitally and physically (on CD and vinyl) on March 20. MCA Nashville will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original limited series The Gray House. The album features War and Treaty’s main title theme song Blood in the River, as well as original tracks performed by Shania Twain & Drake Milligan, Killer Mike, Adrienne Warren, Yolanda Adams, Lainey Wilson, Scott Stapp and Larkin Poe. The soundtrack will be released on February 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. UMe has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1986 teen comedy drama classic Pretty in Pink directed by Howard Deutch, written by John Hughes and starring Molly Ringwald, Harry Dean Stanton, Jon Cryer, James Spader, Annie Potts and Andrew McCarthy. The 40th Anniversary Edition reissue features the songs from the movie, including The Psychedelic Furs’ Top 5 title track, OMD’s If You Leave, Echo & The Bunnymen’s Bring on the Dancing Horses, The Smiths’ Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want and INXS’ Do Wot You Do.
