Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller Motor City directed by Potsy Ponciroli and starring Alan Ritchson, Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster, Pablo Schreiber, Ben McKenzie, Lionel Boyce and Amar Chadha-Patel.The film’s original music is composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Desperate Housewives, Deepwater Horizon, Lone Survivor, Skyscraper, Ender’s Game, DC League of Super-Pets). No word on a soundtrack release. Opening semi-wide in around 700 theaters is the sci-fi/horror thriller Her Private Hell co-written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Sophie Thatcher, Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, Charles Melton, Aoi Yamada, Shioli Kutsuna, Dougray Scott, Diego Calva and Hidetoshi Nishijima. Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Body Double, Blow Out, The Howling) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a couple of tracks by Julian Winding who has provided additional music, today.
