Compression Artifact will release a soundtrack album for the Japanese horror thriller Never After Dark. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonathan Snipes (Starry Eyes, Rebirth, Trespassers, Room 237, Mope, The Veil). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 25. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Never After Dark is written and directed by Dave Boyle and stars Moeka Hoshi, Kurumi Inagaki, Kento Kaku, Bokuzō Masana,Mutsuo Yoshioka and Tae Kimura. The movie follows a wandering medium who spends her life guiding restless spirits out of the world of the living and gets summoned to an isolated country house, where she comes face to face with a grotesque apparition with powers. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival, opened in Japanese theaters this past June and is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Magnolia Pictures.
