Cineverse announced today that the composer trio of Blitz//Berlin (PG: Psycho Goreman, Day of the Dead, Still/Born, Night Shift, Extraterrestrial, Frankie Freako, It Stains the Sands Red) are set to score the upcoming reboot of the holiday horror cult classic Silent Night, Deadly Night. The film is written and directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, The Domestics) and stars Ruby Modine, Rohan Campbell, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown and David Tomlinson. The movie reimagines the original 1984 classic (scored by Perry Botkin, Jr.) in which a young boy witnesses the murder of his parents at the hands of a man dressed as Santa, only to grow up and become a killer himself.
