David Wingo has composed the music for the upcoming Amazon Studios pilot Sea Oak. The show is created by George Saunders (Lincoln in the Bardo) based on his own short story and stars Glenn Close, Jane Levy, Rae Gray, Jack Quaid and Sarah Hay. The comedy revolves around a lonesome woman who comes back from the dead to live the life she was too afraid to live. Epic Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated movie Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You. The album features the original song Lil Snowman performed by Mariah Carey, as well as a new versions of classic christmas songs from the film performed by the singer/songwriter and Breanna Yde. Also included are three tracks from the movie’s score composed by Richard Evans, Matthew Gerrard & Marco Luciani. The soundtrack will be released on November 17, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. James Edward Barker has been hired to score the upcoming action thriller Final Score. The film is directed by Scott Mann and stars Dave Bautista, Pierce Brosnan, Alexandra Dinu, Ray Stevenson and Julian Cheung. The movie follows an ex-soldier who must use all his military skills to save a 35,000 capacity crowd stadium that is seized during a sporting event by a group of heavily armed criminals. The Brothers Lynch wrote the screenplay with Jonathan Frank (The Tournament). Marc Goldberg is producing the project with Robert Jones (Dirty Pretty Things, Centurion), James Harris & Mark Lane (47 Meters Down) and Wayne Marc Godfrey (The Foreigner).
Evgueni and Sacha Galperine are reteaming with Barry Levinson on the upcoming HBO original movie Happy Valley. The film stars Al Pacino as Joe Paterno, who, after becoming the winningest coach in college football history, is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. Riley Keough, Annie Parisse, Kathy Baker and Greg Grunberg are co-starring. Debora Cahn, John C. Richards (Nurse Betty) and David McKenna (American History X, Blow) wrote the script. Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam) is also executive producing the project with Jason Sosnoff (The Humbling), Tom Fontana (Oz, Borgia0, Edward Pressman (The Crow, American Psycho) & Linday Sloane and Rick Nicita.
