Tôt Ou Tard has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy Not All Men But… (Le mélange des genres). The album features the film’s original music composed by Vincent Delerm (Spring Blossom, Out of Season, The Very Private Life of Mister Sim). Also included is a cover version of Jean-Jacques Goldman’s song Doux. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Not All Men But… is co-written and directed by Michel Leclerc and stars Benjamin Lavernhe, Léa Drucker, Judith Chemla, Vincent Elbaz and Julia Piaton. Mutant has released the first track from the second volume of the album Exotic Themes for the Silver Screen by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ratatouille, The Batman, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Doctor Strange). Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is a lounge version of the Academy Award-winning composer’s Marvel Studios Fanfare, which has been featured in most Marvel movies over the last decade. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frank Ilfman (Big Bad Wolves, Gunpowder Milkshake, A Mistake, Ghost Stories, The Operative, The Etruscan Smile). Director Zach Cregger (Barbarian) has made his feature scoring debut on his upcoming horror thriller Weapons. He has composed the score, alongside Ryan Holladay & Hays Holladay (Class Action Park), for the film written and directed by himself and starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Benedict Wong, Cary Christopher and Amy Madigan. Premiering tonight is the National Geographic original documentary series Secrets of the Penguins executive produced by James Cameron, produced by Bertie Gregory and narrated by Blake Lively. The show’s original music is composed by Nainita Desai (The Deepest Breath, Nautilus, For Sama, The Tower, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, The Reason I Jump, Funny Woman, Crossfire). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Premiering tomorrow, April 21, is the Netflix original documentary Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey directed by Pippa Ehrlich and produced by Ehrlich, George Chignell, Jessica Grimshaw and Nick Shumaker. Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Dropout, Hijack, Fate: The Winx Saga, I.S.S., Mrs. Wilson, Dangerous Liaisons, Lost Girls, The Pale Horse) has composed the film’s original music. Apple TV+ announced this week that Leland (aka Brett McLaughlin) has written the original songs for the streamer’s upcoming animated musical special Lulu Is a Rhinoceros. The special, which is scored by Jina Hyojin An & Shirley Song (XO, Kitty, Exploding Kittens, BE@RBRICK, The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star, A Tourist’s Guide to Love), is developed by Jason & Allison Flom based on their children’s book of the same name and features the voices of Auliʻi Cravalho, Alex Newell, Dulé Hill, Paul Rust and Utkarsh Ambudkar. The Propagate Content & Bento Box Animation production directed by Angela Stempel follows the titular rhinoceros on a quest to spread kindness who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror movie Sinners written and directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson and Delroy Lindo. The film’s original score is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, The Mandalorian, Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Turning Red, Venom). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Sony Masterworks has also released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie performed by Rod Wave, Buddy Guy, James Blake, Brittany Howard, Don Toliver, Rhiannon Giddens & others (click here for the full album details). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy The Wedding Banquet co-written and directed by Andrew Ahn and starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Youn Yuh-jung and Joan Chen. Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Heart Eyes, Tell Me Lies, Franklin, Swan Song, Before, I Carry You with Me) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. WaterTower Music has released a digital EP featuring four “bonus songs” performed by lead actor Jack Black from the fantasy comedy A Minecraft Movie. The EP, entitled I…Am Steve, features extended versions of the songs Steve’s Lava Chicken, Birthday Rap & 3 Ode to Dennis, as well as the previously unreleased track Welcome to Steve’s. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jeff Rona (Chicago Hope, Exit Wounds, Generation Iron, Claws, Powers, Traffic) and produced by Rona and Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Dune, Inception, Interstellar). Cecile Tournesac serves as the score producer for the film directed by McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Mariela Garriga, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Tramell Tillman, Hannah Waddingham, Shea Whigham, Charles Parnell, Greg Tarzan Davis, Mark Gatiss, Rolf Saxon, Lucy Tulugarjuk and Angela Bassett.
