Atresmúsica has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish comedy drama The Queen of Spain (La reina de España). The album features the film’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Zbigniew Preisner (Three Colors series, When a Man Loves a Woman, The Secret Garden). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the fill album details. Quartet Records will release a physical version later this year. Four new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Moana directed by Ron Clements & John Musker and featuring the voices of Auli’i Cravelho and Dwayne Johnson. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mancina (Twister, Speed, Tarzan, Brother Bear, Planes). The composer also co-wrote the movie’s original songs with Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Opetaia Foa’i. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring score & songs in two different editions. Click here for the full album details. Also opening wide is the romantic thriller Allied directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, Jared Harris, Lizzy Caplan, Simon McBurney, Daniel Betts, Camille Cottin, August Diehl and Matthew Goode. Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, The Avengers, Cast Away) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Sing’ Soundtrack Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature Sing have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film performed by the movie’s voice cast. Also included are the tracks that are already available as singles, including Faith by Stevie Wonder feat. Ariana Grande, Set It All Free by Scarlett Johansson and Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing by Tori Kelly. The soundtrack will be released on December 9, 2016 by Republic Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Expanded ‘Jurassic Park’ & ‘The Lost World’ Soundtracks Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new 4-CD set featuring the remastered and expanded scores for Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic Jurassic Park and the 1997 sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The films’ music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List). The composer’s expanded score, including previously unreleased tracks, is featured on the first two disc and his music for the sequel is featured on disc 3 & 4. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere releases of the original score for the 1984 action comedy Beverly Hills Cop directed by Martin Brest and starring Eddie Murphy & Judge Reinhold and its 1987 sequel Beverly Hills Cop II directed by Tony Scott. The albums feature the films’ original music composed by Harold Faltermeyer (Top Gun, The Running Man, Fletch, Tango & Cash). The Beverly Hills Cop album also includes the original soundtrack release’s most notable songs performed by Glenn Frey, The Pointer Sisters & more and the Beverly Hills Cop II album features songs by Bob Seger, George Michael & more. The track has been released as digital single and is available to download on Amazon. The Snowy Day based on the best-selling children’s book by Ezra Jack Keats is directed by Jamie Badminton & Rufus Blacklock and features the voices of Donielle Hansley, Laurence Fishburne (who is also producing the project), Regina King and Angela Bassett. Jeff Russo has been tapped to score the upcoming drama The Three Christs of Ypsilanti. The film is directed by Jon Avnet (Fried Green Tomatoes, Up Close & Personal, The War) and stars Richard Gere, Walton Goggins, Peter Dinklage, Julianna Margulies and Bradley Whitford. The movie revolves around a doctor who is treating three paranoid schizophrenic patients at the Ypsilanti State Hospital in Michigan, each of whom believe they are Jesus Christ. Avnet also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Nazarian based on the biographical novel by Milton Rokeach. The director is also producing the project for his Brooklyn Films company, alongside Aaron Stern, Molly Hassell (Edmond, Jackie & Ryan), Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier.
