Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Locke, Ben Is Back, Out of the Furnace, Leave No Trace) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama Frankie. The film is directed by Ira Sachs (Love Is Strange, Keep the Lights On) and stars Isabelle Huppert, Marisa Tomei, Greg Kinnear, Jérémie Renier, André Wilms, Brendan Gleeson and Ariyon Bakare. The movie centers on three generations grappling with a life-changing experience during one day of a vacation in Sintra, Portugal, a historic town known for its dense gardens and fairy-tale villas and palaces. Sachs also wrote the screenplay with Mauricio Zacharias. Saïd Ben Saïd & Michel Merkt (Elle, Carnage) are producing the project. Hinchliffe has previously scored Sachs’ last feature Little Men. Frankie will premiere later this year.

Hinchliffe has also recently scored Phillip Noyce’s Above Suspicion, which is expected to be released later this year, as well as Andrew Heckler’s Burden, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
