Rob (aka Robin Coudert) is set to compose the music for the upcoming thriller Revenge. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Coralie Fargeat and stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe and Guillaume Bouchède. The movie revolves around a woman seeking revenge after being abused by three men and left for dead in the desert. Marc-Etienne Schwartz is producing the project, which is being filmed in English and French, for M.E.S. Prods., alongside Marc Stanimirovic (Kaamelott) for Monkey Pack Films. Sean Callery is scoring the new CBS drama Doubt. The show is created by Tony Phelan & Joan Rater (Grey’s Anatomy) and stars Katherine Heigl, Steven Pasquale, Elliott Gould, Dulé Hill, Laverne Cox, Dreama Walker and Kobi Libii. The series follows a successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm who becomes romantically involved with a client who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. ‘Adam Resurrected’ Soundtrack Announced

Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2008 drama Adam Resurrected. The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, City of Angels, The Lives of Others) who recorded his score at Abbey Road Studios in London. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Charlie Bean (Tron: Uprising) and features the voices of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods and Jackie Chan. Hilary Winston & Bob Logan & Paul Fisher wrote the screenplay based on a story by themselves and Kevin Hageman & Dan Hageman. Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes, Gangster Squad), Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21/22 Jump Street), Roy Lee (The Strangers, The Exorcist) and Maryann Garger (Astro Boy) are producing the project. Premiering on Tuesday, February 14, is the Netflix original movie Girlfriend’s Day directed by Michael Stephenson and starring Bob Odenkirk, Amber Tamblyn, Natasha Lyonne. The film’s original music is composed by Bobby Tahouri (Husk, Across the Hall, Rise of the Tomb Raider video game). Girlfriend’s Day follows an unemployed greeting card writer must who gets caught up in a conspiracy and must create the perfect card for a new holiday to save his skin. The comedy will be available to stream on Netflix on Tuesday.
Premiering in the U.S. on Saturday, February 18, is the BBC Earth documentary series Planet Earth narrated by David Attenborough, executive produced by Michael Gunton and produced by Tom Hugh-Jones. Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception) has composed the show’s main theme. Jacob Shea (Through the Wormhole) and Jasha Klebe (Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom) have written the score for Bleeding Fingers Music. John Williams has won the Grammy Award for his music for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category. The other nominated composers in the category included Ennio Morricone (The Hateful Eight), Thomas Newman (Bridge of Spies), Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Revenant) and Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein (Stranger Things). In the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media, Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and Shellback won the award for the song Can’t Stop the Feeling from DreamWorks Animation’s feature Trolls. Justin Hurwitz Wins BAFTA Award for ‘La La Land’

Justin Hurwitz has received his first BAFTA Award for his score for Damien Chazelle’s La La Land in the Original Music category today at the ceremony at the Orange British Academy Film Awards ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London. He was nominated alongside Johann Johannsson (Arrival), Mica Levi (Jackie), Dustin O’Halloran & Hauschka (Lion) and Abel Korzeniowski (Nocturnal Animals). Bonne Pioche Music will release a soundtrack album for the documentary L’Empereur (aka March of the Penguins 2: The Call). The album features the film’s original music composed by Cyrille Aufort (Splice, A Royal Affair, Ombline). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 15, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. March of the Penguins 2: The Call is directed by Luc Jacquet (Antarctica: Ice & Sky) who also helmed 2005’s original movie and follows a young penguin who is about to embark on his first journey, driven by the mysterious instinctual call that pushes every penguin when winter comes to leave for an unknown destination.
