Opening nationwide is the animated sequel How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World directed by Dean DeBlois and starring Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Cate Blanchett, Kit Harrington, Craig Ferguson and F. Murray Abraham. The film’s original music is composed by John Powell (The Bourne Identity, Shrek, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the faith-based drama Run the Race directed by Chris Dowling and starring Tanner Stine, Kristoffer Polaha, Evan Hofer, Kelsey Reinhardt, Mario Van Peebles, Mykelti Williamson and Frances Fisher. Paul Mills (I Can Only Imagine, War Room, October Baby, Woodlawn) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie is being released by Roadside Attractions. Sony Classical to Release ‘Wonder Park’ Soundtrack

Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the animated feature Wonder Park. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Fury, Baby Driver, Attack the Block). Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s Mötley Crüe Movie ‘The Dirt’ Announced

Mötley Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie The Dirt. The album features a number of Mötley Crüe classics, as well as four new songs, including the single The Dirt (Est. 1981) (feat. Machine Gun Kelly, which is already available to download here. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on March 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Victoria’ Season 2 & 3 Soundtrack Released

Dubois Records has released a new soundtrack album for the ITV/PBS original series Victoria. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second and third season composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Harry Brown, Collateral, City of Tiny Lights). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Barrett’s & Martin Phipps’ score from the drama’s first season. ‘Wild Rose’ Soundtrack Details

Universal-Island Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy drama Wild Rose. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Jessie Buckley who stars in the title role of Rose-Lynn Harlan. The soundtrack will be released on April 12, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Country Girl) is now already available to download here. Wild Rose is directed by Tom Harper and stars Buckley, alongside Sophie Okonedo and Julie Walters. The movie follows a convicted criminal, single mother and would-be country singer who dreams of leaving her dreary, workaday Glasgow life for the bright lights of Nashville. Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation) has recently recorded his music for the upcoming National Geographic docu-series Hostile Planet. The show is executive produced by Academy Award-winning cinematographer and director Guillermo Navarro (Pan’s Labyrinth) and draws attention to the most extraordinary accounts of animals that have adapted to the cruelest evolutionary curveballs. Each episode of the 6-parter hosted by Bear Grylls looks at animals surviving at the extremes of different environments, in mountains, oceans, grasslands, jungles, deserts, and polar regions. Rebecca Ferguson’s Original Song ‘Running’ from ‘Funan’ to Be Released

Rebecca Ferguson has recorded an original song for the animated feature Funan. The track, entitled Running, will be released as a digital single tomorrow and will be available to download on Amazon. Listen to the full song after the jump. A full soundtrack album, which also features the film’s original score composed by Thibaut Kientz-Agyeman, will be released next month by Milan Records. Funan is directed by Denis Do and features the voices of Bérénice Bejo and Louis Garrel. Dan Deacon Scoring ‘Well Groomed’

Dan Deacon has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Well Groomed. The film is directed by Rebecca Stern and takes place in the world of competitive creative dog grooming. The movie follows four champion groomers and their dogs through a year in the life on the technicolor competition circuit, exploring their creative process. Stern is also producing the project with Justin Levy and Matthew C. Mills.
