Paramount Music will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Pet Sematary. The album features the film’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, The Shipping News, Drag Me to Hell, Ghost Rider). Also included is Starcrawler’s cover of the Ramones’ title song from the 1989 film adaptation. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 5 and will be available to download here. A physical version is in the works from Waxwork Records. Pet Sematary is directed by Kevin Kölsch & Dennis Widmyer and stars Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz and John Lithgow. The movie is based on Stephen King’s classic novel and follows a young family who, after moving to a rural home, discover they are living next to a creepy pet cemetery endowed with powers to reanimate whatever is buried on its grounds.
