Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for Noah Hawley’s sci-fi drama Lucy in the Sky. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, The Act) who has previously collaborated with Hawley on FX’s Fargo and Legion, among other projects. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 4, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lucy in the Sky is co-written and directed by Hawley and stars Natalie Portman, Jon Hamm, Zazie Beetz, Dan Stevens, Colman Domingo, Pearl Amanda Dickson and Ellen Burstyn. The movie centers on a strong woman whose determination and drive as an astronaut take her to space, where she’s deeply moved by the transcendent experience of seeing her life from afar. The drama just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last night and will be released in theaters on October 4 by Fox Searchlight. Visit the official movie website for more information.
