Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album for the FX original series Fosse/Verdon. The album features the songs from the series, as well other musical highlights and the show’s theme by the project’s music director Alex Lacamoire. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released eight digital singles for all episodes of the series. Fosse/Verdon is developed by Steven Levenson & Thomas Kail based on Sam Wasson’s biography Fosse and stars Sam Rockwell as Bob Fosse, Michelle Williams as Gwen Verdon, as well as Norbert Leo Butz, Aya Cash, Nate Corddry, Evan Handler, Paul Reiser and Margaret Qualley. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the monster movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters directed by Mike Dougherty and starring Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the biographical musical drama Rocketman directed by Dexter Fletcher and starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Gemma Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard. Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle) has composed the film’s original score. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the Elton John songs featured in the movie performed by Egerton, as well as an original song performed by John & Egerton. Sony Classical to Release ‘Men in Black: International’ Score Album

Sony Classical will release a score album for the sci-fi action comedy Men in Black: International. The album features the film’s original score composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas) who scored all previous three installments in the Men in Black series and Chris Bacon (Source Code, Gnomeo & Juliet, The Tick). Soundtrack Album for Bong Joon-Ho’s ‘Parasite’ Released

Genie Music Corporation and Stone Music Entertainment have released a soundtrack album for Boon Joon-Ho’s comedy Parasite. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jung Jaeil (Take Point) who previously scored the director’s last feature, Okja. The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. A CD version will be released on June 7 and is available to order here. Milan Records will release the album this October in the U.S. (visit Amazon to stream/download). Parasite is co-written and directed by Joon-Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host, Mother) stars Song Kang-Ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik and Park So-dam. The comedy premiered earlier this month at the Cannes Film Festival where it received the Palme d’Or, and will be released in select U.S. theaters on October 11, 2019 by Neon.
