Dickon Hinchliffe has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Burden. The film is written and directed by Andrew Heckler and stars Garrett Hedlund, Andrea Riseborough, Forest Whitaker, Tom Wilkinson, Tess Harper and Usher. The movie tells the story of an orphan raised within the Ku Klux Klan who attempts to break away after the girl he falls in love with urges him to leave for a better life together. Robbie Brenner (Dallas Buyers Club, Escape Plan, Machine Gun Preacher, A Perfect Getaway) is producing the project for The Firm. Following this past Sunday’s season finale, the full details of the two soundtrack albums for Showtime’s Twin Peaks limited event series have been revaled. The Twin Peaks (Limited Event Series Soundtrack) album features the show’s original score composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Blue Velvet, The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive), as well as tracks by Chromatics, Johnny Jewel and Muddy Magnolias. The Twin Peaks (Music from the Limited Event Series) album features the songs from the new season by artists including The Cactus Blossoms, Sharon Van Etten, Nine Inch Nails, Eddie Vedder, ZZ Top & more. Dominic Lewis has signed on to score the upcoming family comedy Peter Rabbit. The film directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Annie, Friends with Benefits) stars Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne and Sam Neill, and features the voices of James Corden as the title character, Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki. The live-action/animated hybrid is based on Beatrix Potter’s classic stories of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Walt Disney Pictures’ 1992 family comedy sequel Honey, I Blew Up the Kid directed by Randal Kleiser and starring Rick Moranis, Marcia Strassman, Robert Oliveri, Amy O’Neill and Keri Russell. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, Rescuers Down Under, Lost in Space), including almost 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
