Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8) has been hired to score the upcoming superhero movie Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The film is directed by Cathy Yan (Dead Pigs) and stars Margot Robbie who is reprising her role as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad. She is joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett, Ewan McGregor, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco and Ali Wong. ‘Frozen 2’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Walt Disney Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Disney Animation’s sequel Frozen 2. The album the original songs from the movie written by Academy Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez and performed the film’s voice cast, as well as three end credits songs by Panic! At The Disco, Kacey Musgraves and Weezer. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 15, 2019. WM China has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese action drama The Bravest. The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Kam (Dragon, Cold War, Finding Mr. Right). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon Music, where you can also listen to audio clips. Also available now is the movie’s title song performed by Lei Jia (click here to stream). The Bravest is directed by Tony Chan and stars Huang Xiaoming, Du Jiang, Yang Zi, Tan Zhuo and Zhang Zehan. The movie is based on the oil pipeline disaster that took place in China’s Liaoning Province in 2010 and follows a group of Chinese firefighters as they struggle to contain a huge fire after an oil pipeline explodes. Premiering tonight is the Epix original series Godfather of Harlem created by Chris Brancato & Paul Eckstein and starring Forest Whitaker, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ilfenesh Hadera, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Nigél Thatch, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Lucy Fry, Paul Sorvino, Giancarlo Esposito and Rafi Gavron. The show’s original score is composed by Mark Isham (Crash, The Accountant, Once Upon a Time). Epic Records has released the drama’s main titles song Just In Case performed by Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross & DMX and will release a full soundtrack album soon (click here for more details).
Also premiering tonight is the Fox animated comedy Bless the Harts created by Emily Spivey and starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell and Ike Barinholtz. Andrew Sherman (Game Day, A Very Serious Person) is composing the show’s original music and has also composed the theme. Opening semi-wide in around 450 theaters is the biographical drama Judy directed by Rupert Goold and starring Renee Zellweger, Jessie Buckley, Finn Wittrock, Rufus Sewell and Michael Gambon.
