Opening on VOD today is the animated feature Scoob! directed by Tony Cervone and starring Zac Efron, Frank Welker, Gina Rodriguez, Amanda Seyfried, Will Forte, Mark Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Kiersey Clemons and Jason Isaacs. The film’s original score is composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Alita: Battle Angel). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists such as Thomas Rhett & Kane Brown feat. Ava Max, Jack Harlow, Pink Sweat$, R3HAB, among others. Already available on VOD since this past Tuesday is the drama Capone written and directed by Josh Trank and starring Tom Hardy, Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan, Noel Fisher, Jack Lowden and Kathrine Narducci. El-P has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced yet. World Premiere Soundtrack Release for ‘Mr. Mom’ Announced

Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1983 comedy Mr. Mom directed by Stan Dragoti, written by John Hughes and starring Michael Keaton, Teri Garr, Jeffrey Tambor, Ann Jillian, Christopher Lloyd and Martin Mull. The album features the original score from the movie composed and conducted by Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Old Gringo, Oliver’s Story). The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and for more details about the release. Mr. Mom, which follows an automotive engineer whose wife gets a job, while he stays home with the children, housework and housewives, is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD. The track is written by Sarah Aarons & Greg Kurstin, produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins & Tony Hemmings and performed by lead actress Tracee Ellis Ross. Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) has confirmed at a Reddit AMA today that he is reuniting with director Zack Snyder on the upcoming Netflix original film Army of the Dead. The film starring Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Chris D’Elia, Huma Qureshi, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada and Matthias Schweighöfer takes place following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, when a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. Snyder also co-wrote the screenplay with Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) and Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum). Read the rest of this entry »

The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by  Eric Neveux (The Insult, The Attack, Intimacy, A Stork’s Journey, Zombillennium, Spirou & Fantasio’s Big Adventures).. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Inhuman Resources is written by Pierre Lemaitre & Perrine Margaine based on Lemaitre’s novel Cadres noirs, directed by Ziad Doueiri stars Eric Cantona, Suzanne Clément and Alex Lutz. The 6-part thriller revolves around Alain Delambre, an unemployed 57-year old man as he is lured by an attractive job opening, but things get ugly when he realizes he’s a pawn in a cruel corporate game. Hans Zimmer has teamed up with record producer Alan Walker for new remix of the composer’s track Time from Christopher Nolan’s Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine. The remix, which is based on Time (Orchestra Version) from the The World of Hans Zimmer album, is now available to stream/download in two different versions as a digital single on Amazon. Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Homecoming. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emile Mosseri (The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Minari, Kajillionaire). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 22 and is now available for pre-order here. Season 2 of Homecoming is created by Eli Horowitz & Micah Bloomberg, directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez and stars Janelle Monáe, Stephan James, Hong Chau, Chris Cooper and Joan Cusack. The full details of the new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Outlander have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Child’s Play, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 15 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Madison Gate Records has previously released multiple soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score from the first four seasons of the series. Outlander is created by Ronald D.
