Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for Disney’s 101 Dalmatian Street TV series. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Nathan Klein, Rupert Cross and Theo Vidgen. Also included are the opening theme I’ve Got My Pups with Me performed by Kathryn D. Rende, the end titles song It’s a Dog’s Life performed by Celica Gray, as well as other songs from the series. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. 101 Dalmatian Street is developed by Anttu Harlin & Joonas Utti based on Disney’s 101 Dalmatians franchise and features the voice talent of Josh Brener, Michaela Dietz, Rhashan Stone and Ella Kenion. John Murphy to Score James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’

John Murphy (Sunshine, 28 Days Later…, Snatch, Kick-Ass) has been confirmed as the new composer of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. We previously reported earlier this week that Tyler Bates will be scoring the film based on information obtained several months ago. At that time, it was confirmed to us that Bates had written music prior to principal photography for use during the shoot (as he did for the Guardians of the Galaxy movies) and the composer was attached to score the movie, but Bates has departed the movie since. The Suicide Squad starring Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, Idris Elba, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson and Michael Rooker will be released on August 6, 2021 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for the documentary The Vasulka Effect. The album features the film’s original music composed by the Icelandic post-rock duo Hugar (aka Bergur Þórisson and Pétur Jónsson). The soundtrack will be released on October 2, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Vasulka Effect is directed by Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir and portrays the life and work of pioneers of video art: Icelandic violinist Steina Bjarnadóttir and Czech filmmaker Woody Vasulka. The Sagafilm & Krumma Films production follows the artists in present day in Santa Fe, forgotten by the art world, in the process of archiving their lives work and struggling to make ends meet. Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, John Wick, 300, Watchmen, Hobbs & Shaw) has been tapped to score the upcoming superhero movie The Suicide Squad. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney who reprise their roles from the 2016 original movie. They are joined by new cast members David Dastmalchian, Idris Elba, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson and Michael Rooker.
