WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the CW drama The 100. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s sixth season composed by Tree Adams (Californication, Perception, NCIS: New Orleans, Swelte). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 17 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released thee soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s music from the series’ third, fourth and fifth season. Sony Masterworks has released the full soundtrack album for the French coming-of-age drama Summer of 85 (Été 85). The album features the film’s original music composed by AIR’s JB Dunckel (K.O., The Summer of Sangaile, Capital in the Twenty-First Century, Cyprien). Also included are the songs In Between Days, by The Cure and Sailing by Rod Stewart. The soundtrack is now available digitally overseas. The album (without the Rod Stewart song) will be released in the U.S. on September 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Summer of 85 is written and directed by Francois Ozon and stars Félix Lefebvre, Benjamin Voisin, Philippine Velge, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Melvil Poupaud and Isabelle Nanty. Milan Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Japanese anime film My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Yuki Hayashi who previously scored all four seasons of the anime television series, as well as the first film installment, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 17 and will be available to stream/download here. A vinyl edition is set to come out on October 23. La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the 1970 western Two Mules for Sister Sara directed by Don Siegel and starring Clint Eastwood and Shirley MacLaine. The album, which is being released as the ninth title of the label’s and Universal Pictures’s Film Music Heritage Collection, features the the film’s original music composed by Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, The Hateful Eight). The 2-CD set features the the full film score (released for the first time), including material that went unused in the picture and 37 minutes of previously unreleased music on the first disc and a newly remastered version of the 1970 Kapp/MCA soundtrack album on the second disc.
