Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi adventure Project Hail Mary directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and starring Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz, Lionel Boyce, Milana Vayntrub and Ken Leung. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse,  The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Steve Jobs, The Bad Guys, Enola Holmes, Materialists, Birds of Prey, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword). Also opening wide is the horror comedy Ready or Not 2: Here I Come directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and starring Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Néstor Carbonell, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, David Cronenberg, Kevin Durand and Olivia Cheng. Sven Faulconer (Scream VI, Psycho Killer, Hellboy: The Crooked Man, Unstable, Blood Father, Lost & Found in Cleveland) has composed the film’s original score and Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3) has provided the original themes. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music today. Adam Sherman’s ‘Vampires of the Velvet Lounge’ to Feature Themes by Bear McCreary and Score by Sparks & Shadows

Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Battlestar Galactica,  The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, Happy Death Day, God of War) has composed the themes for the new horror comedy Vampires of the Velvet Lounge. The Emmy Award winner’s composer collective Sparks & Shadows has written the original score for the film written and directed by Adam Sherman (Happiness Runs) and starring Mena Suvari, Dichen Lachman, Stephen Dorff, India Eisley, Sarah Dumont, Rosa Salazar, Lochlyn Munro, Mark Boon Jr., Timothy Murphy, Sherman Augustus, Tom Berenger and Tyrese Gibson. U.S. Girls’ Theme Song from ‘Dead Lover’ Released

4AD has released the theme song from the Canadian horror comedy Dead Lover. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is You’ve Got Everything – But a Smile co-written (with Jack Lawrence) and performed by U.S. Girls (aka Meg Remy). Also check out the official music video after the jump. Dead Lover is co-written and directed by Grace Glowicki and stars Glowicki herself, Ben Petrie, Leah Doz and Lowen Morrow. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Iron Man, Eternals, Clash of the Titans, Uncharted, A Wrinkle in Time) & William Marriott (Beacon 23) have composed the original music for the upcoming Prime Video original movie Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War.The film is directed by Andrew Bernstein (The Outsider, The Nevers) and stars John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, JJ Feild, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, Betty Gabriel and Sienna Miller. The first feature based on’s Prime Video hit series Jack Ryan follows the title character as he is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit. Republic Records & Verve Music Group have released a new version of the soundtrack album for the movie musical Wicked: For Good. The album features all the songs from the film written by Stephen Schwartz, as well as commentary tracks for each song. Participants include Schwartz himself, director Jon M. Chu, executive music producer Stephen Oremus, as well as stars Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater & Jeff Goldblum. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The album features the film’s original score composed by Terry Davies (Play Without Words, Tiddler, The Scarecrows’ Wedding, Revolting Rhymes, The Car Man). Also included are the movie’s original songs track by Academy Award winner Tim Rice (The Lion King, Aladdin, Evita) & Pete Hobbs and performed by the project’s voice cast, including the title track, which has previously been released as a digital single earlier this month. Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish comedy drama Bitter Christmas (Amarga Navidad). Thew album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Constant Gardener, Volver, The Kite Runner, Parallel Mothers, Exodus: Gods and Kings, The Room Next Door, The Skin I Live In). New Fox Music will release a soundtrack album for the Fox event series The Faithful: Women of the Bible. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Alien: Romulus, The Flash, Twisters, It: Welcome to Derry, Shazam!, Blade Runner 2049, Predator: Badlands, The Conjuring: Last Rites, Hidden Figures).
