Chris Tilton is scoring the pilot for the sci-fi cop buddy cop drama Human. The show is created by J.H. Wyman (The Mexican, Dead Man Down) and stars Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby. The project is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids and follows a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers. Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call) directed the pilot episode. Wyman is executive producing the Warner Bros. TV and Bad Robot production with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost, Person of Interest, Star Trek).

iZLER Scoring ‘Reckless’ and ‘Boomerang’ Pilots
iZLER has been tapped to score the CBS drama pilot Reckless. The show is created by Dana Stevens (What About Brian, screenwriter of City of Angels & For the Love of the Game) and stars Anna Wood, Cam Gigandet, Shawn Hatosy, Michael Gladis and Adam Rodrigues. The legal drama is set in Charleston, South Carolina and follows a Yankee litigator a Southern City Attorney who struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal. Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen) directed the pilot episode. Ian Sander and Kim Moses (Ghost Whisperer, Profiler) are executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Stevens.

Premiering on Saturday, May 11, is the Hallmark Channel original movie The Confession based on the novel by Beverly Lewis, directed by Michael Landon Jr. and starring Katie Leclerk, Bill Oberst Jr., Adrian Paul, Sherry Stringfield, Sandra Van Natta and Cameron Deane Stewart. Lee Holdridge (Beauty and the Beast, Moonlighting) has composed the film’s original score. The project is the sequel to last year’s The Shunning starring Danielle Panabaker, which was also scored by Holdridge and tells the continuing story of Katie Lapp, a young Amish woman who goes on a journey in search of her identity. Brian Tyler to Score ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Hatfields & McCoys’ Pilots
Brian Tyler has signed on to score the pilot for the Fox drama Sleepy Hollow. The show is created by Alex Kurtzman & Bob Orci (Star Trek, Transformers) and Phillip Iscove and stars Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, John Cho and Katia Winter. The supernatural thriller is based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s Detective Abbie Archer to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) has directed the pilot. Kurtzman & Orci are producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Wiseman and Heather Kadin. Tyler has previously collaborated with Kurtzman & Orci on the TV shows Hawaii Five-O, Transformers Prime and the feature Eagle Eye.
Frederik Wiedmann to Score ‘Beware the Batman’ and ‘Justice Leage: The Flashpoint Paradox’
Frederik Wiedmann has been hired to score the upcoming Warner Bros. Animation series Beware The Batman. The show is a new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise and features such characters as Alfred, Katana, Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. The series’ voice talent includes Anthony Ruivivar, J. B. Blanc, Lance Reddick, Sumalee Montano, Kurtwood Smith, Udo Kier and Cree Summer. Wiedmann has previously scored Green Lantern: The Animated Series for Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment. Beware the Batman is set to premiere later this year on Cartoon Network.
‘Behind the Candelabra’ Soundtrack Details
Elektra Records will release the official soundtrack album for the HBO original movie Behind the Candelabra. The film’s original music is written by late composer Marvin Hamlisch. Also featured on the album are several tracks by pianist Liberace, played in the film by Michael Douglas. The soundtrack will be released on May 21, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for audio clips. Behind the Candelabra is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Dan Aykroyd, Rob Lowe, Scott Bakula and Debbie Reynolds. The movie centers on the famous pianist and the secret affair he had with young Scott Thorson. Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King) wrote the script and Jerry Weintraub (Ocean’s Eleven, The Karate Kid) is executive producing the project. The movie is set to premiere on May 26, 2013 on HBO and will also be shown this month at the Cannes Film Festival.
‘True Blood’ Volume 4 Soundtrack Details
ATO Records will release a new soundtrack album for HBO’s hit series True Blood. The album features songs from the show by artists including Iggy Pop with Bethany Cosentino, Eric Burdon with Jenny Lewis, Howlin’ Wolf, Los Lobos, The Flaming Lips, The Heavy, The Naked and Famous, Warpaint, Mobley, Deap Vally and Koko Taylor. The fourth soundtrack for the series will be released on May 28, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out our previous article for the details of the last volume. The fifth season of True Blood created by Alan Ball and starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten and Sam Trammell will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on May 21 and the sixth season is set to premiere on June 16, 2013 on HBO.
‘Copper’ Soundtrack Details
Valley Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for BBC America’s drama Copper. The album features selections from the show’s original score written by Emmy Award-winning composer Brian Keane (The Curse of the Bambino). The soundtrack will be released on May 28, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are available after the jump. Copper is created by Tom Fontana & Will Rokos and stars Tom Weston-Jones, Kyle Schmid, Anastasia Griffith, Franka Potente and Ato Essandoh. The series about an Irish immigrant cop who patrols the Five Points neighborhood during the American Civil War in 1860s New York City premiered last summer. BBC America’s first original scripted drama was renewed for a second season, which is set to premiere on June 23, 2013.

Simmons, Johnny Pemberton, Edi Gathegi, Leah Remini and Danielle Nicolet. tomandandy (Resident Evil: Afterlife, The Mothman Prophecies) have composed the show’s score and Matt Mariano (Raising Hope) has also contributed music for the show. Bowman is executive producing the ABC Studios production with Joshua Sternin & J.R. Ventimilia (That ‘70s Show, Rio) and Mark Gordon (Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds). Gabriel Mann Scoring ABC Family’s ‘Twisted’
Gabriel Mann has been tapped to score the upcoming ABC Family mystery drama Twisted. The show is created by Adam Milch and stars Avan Jogia, Maddie Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Kimberly Quinn, Sam Robards, Ashton Moio and Denise Richards. The series follows a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past, who recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood and becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead in her home. Jon Amiel (Entrapment, Sommersby, The Core) has directed the pilot episode. Gavin Polone (Zombieland, Gilmore Girls) and David Babcock are executive producing the project with Milch. Mann has previously scored the Polone-produced ABC Family series Jane by Design.
