WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO documentary series Chimp Crazy. The album features the show’s original music composed by Jonathan Sadoff (The Peanut Butter Falcon, Ingrid Goes West, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Angelyne, Dollface, Incoming, Under the Boardwalk). Chimp Crazy is directed by Eric Goode and explores the secretive world of raising chimpanzees and the complicated and colorful cast of characters that inhabit it. The 4-parter follows a former nurse-turned-exotic animal broker whose limitless love for one chimpanzee in particular spins into a cat-and-mouse game with authorities and an animal rights group.

Premiering on Thursday, September 12, is the Netflix original documentary Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter directed by Ryan White and produced by Charlize Theron about a mother who discovers the daughter she gave up for adoption many years ago has disappeared. The 2-part film’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (Masters of the Air, The Flight Attendant, The Flash, Arrow, Everwood, Greyhound, The Pacific, Life As We Know It, Riverdale). Premiering on Friday, September 13, is the Starz limited series Three Women created by Lisa Taddeo based on her own novel and starring Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, DeWanda Wise, Blair Underwood, Gabrielle Creevy, Jason Ralph and John Patrick Amedori. Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Wicked Little Letters, Emma, The Phantom of the Open, Munich: The Edge of War, Vita & Virginia, Roar) has composed the show’s original music. Soundtrack Album for Paramount+’s ‘Zorro’ TV Series Released
Lakeshore Records has released for the French Paramount+ original series Zorro. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Julie Roué (Montparnasse Bienvenue, The (Ex)perience of Love, The Bare Necessity, Fragile). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Also listen to the project’s title song ( Qui est Zorro ?) after the jump. Zorro is created by Benjamin Charbit & Noé Debré and stars Jean Dujardin, Salvatore Ficarra, Audrey Dana, Eric Elmosnino, André Dussollier and Grégory Gadebois. The adventure comedy is set in 1821 as Don Diego de la Vega becomes mayor of Los Angeles and has to face off a corrupt businessman, Don Emmanuel.

Hans Zimmer & Kara Talve to Compose Music for BBC’s ‘Lord of the Flies’ TV Series
BBC announced today that Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Dune, Inception, The Lion King) and Kara Talve (Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs, The Simpsons) for Bleeding Fingers Music are set to compose the music for the upcoming BBC/Stan original drama Lord of the Flies. The show is developed by Jack Thorne (His Dark Materials, Enola Holmes) based on William Golding’s classic novel of the same title and stars David McKenna, Winston Sawyers, Lox Pratt, Isaac Talbut, Thomas Connor, Noah & Cassius Flemyn, Cornelius Brandreth and Tom Page-Turner. The series directed by Marc Munden (Utopia, The Third Day) tells the story of a group of young schoolchildren who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with no adults, following a deadly plane crash.
‘Call Me Bae’ Soundtrack Album Released
Sony Music India has released a soundtrack album for the Indian Prime Video original series Call Me Bae. The album features the songs from the show written by Rochak Kohli, Ruuh, Lisa Mishra, Charan, Abhijeet Srivastava, Bombay The Artist, Pranay Parti, Joh and Shravan Mantri. The 8-part drama follows a young heiress who gets disowned by the her family after a scandal and ends up in Mumbai, where she interviews for a job as a journalist, and forms unexpected friendships and alliances.

Hollywood Records has released the cover version of the Gnarls Barkley song Crazy from the second season of the Hulu original series Tell Me Lies. The track (originally written by Brian Burton, Thomas Callaway, Gian Franco & Gian Pero Reverberi) produced the show’s composer Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Franklin, Swan Song, Fire Island) and performed by Cat Missal (who stars as Bree) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The full details of the soundtrack album for the fourth episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The albums features the original score from Episode 4 (entitled Eldest) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Happy Death Day). The soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 by Amazon Content Services exclusively on Amazon Music before becoming available on all major digital music services after the full season has premiered. The label has previously released three albums for the first three episodes of the new season last week, as well as the Season 2 album featuring selections of the composer’s score from the new season last month.
Scott Bomar Scoring Peacock’s ‘Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist’
Composer Scott Bomar (Mississippi Grind, Here Comes Rusty) is reuniting with director Craig Brewer (Coming 2 America, Footloose) on the new Peacock limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. The show is created by Shaye Ogbonna (God’s Country, Lowlife) and stars Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Don Cheadle and Terrence Howard. The 8-parter is based on the iHeart true-crime podcast and tells the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.”
