The film is directed by Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and stars Billy Eichner, Luke Macfarlane, Guillermo Díaz, Jim Rash, Eve Lindley, D’Lo Srijaerajah, Peter Kim, Justin Covington, Dot-Marie Jones, Becca Blackwell, Bowen Yang, Harvey Fierstein, Benito Skinner and TS Madison. The movie centers on two men with commitment issues who attempt a relationship.

The comedy drama is based on Federle’s book of the same title and follows a 13-year-old Pittsburgher who sneaks off to a major musical audition in the Big Apple with his best friend after not being cast in their school play.

The movie is directed by Chris Williams (Bolt, Big Hero 6) and tells the story of a legendary sea monster hunter whose life is turned upside down when a young girl stows away on his ship and befriends the most dangerous beast of them all. No voice casting announcements have been made yet. Williams also wrote the screenplay inspired by the fantastical beasts that adorned 16th and early 17th century nautical maps.

The coming-of-age drama is set in 1999 and follows a 12-year old girl who discovers a broken mixtape made by her late parents and sets out to find the songs – and learn more about her mom and dad.
