Winnipeg: Seeds of Hope is directed by Beñat Beitia & Elio Quiroga and tells the story of a widowed father and his young daughter who leave Spain when Barcelona falls to Franco’s forces in 1939 and whose journey takes them through refugee camps in France aboard the SS Winnipeg, a freighter chartered by Neruda to take them to Valparaíso, Chile, where a new life may begin.
‘The Isolate Thief’ Soundtrack Album Details
Average Joes Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for the western The Isolate Thief. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jordan Lehning (Old Henry, Easy Does It, Greedy People, The Dead Center, Make-Out with Violence). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Isolate Thief is directed by John Suits and stars Mackenzie Foy, Odeya Rush, Jack Kesy, Ty Simpkins, Joe Pantoliano, Martin Sensmeier and Sean Bean. The movie is set during the Civil War and follows a young woman who becomes the lone caretaker of a remote Union Army outpost and – when a stash of stolen gold falls into her lab – must stay one step ahead of a gang of vicious outlaws who come looking for it.
‘American Friends’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released
Music Box Records has released a digital version of the premiere soundtrack album for the 1991 British drama American Friends co-written and directed by Tristram Powell and starring Michael Palin (who also co-wrote the screenplay), Connie Booth, Trini Alvarado and Alfred Molina. The album features the movie’s original music composed and conducted by Georges Delerue (Platoon, Steel Magnolias, Twins, The Day of the Jackal, Beaches, A Little Romance, Joe Versus the Volcano). Walt Disney Records has released the official score album for the live-action adaptation of the animated movie Moana. World Premiere Release of Gerald Fried’s ‘Twenty Plus Two’ & ‘A Cold Wind in August’ Scores Announced
Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere release of two scores composed by Emmy Award winner Gerald Fried (Star Trek: The Original Series, Roots, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Gilligan’s Island, Too Late the Hero). The titles include the 1961 mystery drama Twenty Plus Two directed by Joseph M. Newman and starring David Janssen, Jeanne Crain, Dina Merrill and William Demarest, as well as the 1961 movie A Cold Wind in August directed by Alexander Singer and starring Lola Albright, Scott Marlowe and Joe De Santis. Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced a new anniversary reissue of the score album for the 1996 slasher classic Scream directed by Wes Craven and starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan & Drew Barrymore. The original 14-track album featuring music by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Hellboy, Ford v. Ferrarie) will be released on vinyl in a collectible “blood-soaked” sleeve featuring an iconic image of Barrymore as Casey Becker in the film’s opening scene on August 28.
