Jambo Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1971 British adventure drama Kidnapped directed by Delbert Mann and starring Michael Caine, Trevor Howard, Jack Hawkins and Donald Pleasence. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roy Budd (Get Carter, The Wild Geese, The Sea Wolves, Flight of the Doves, Soldier Blue). ‘The Inseparables’ Soundtrack Album Released
Octopolis & nWave have released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Inseparables. The album features the film’s original songs and score composed by the Belgian band Puggy (Egil Franzen, Romain Descampe & Matthew Irons) (The Son of Bigfoot, Bigfoot Family, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Inseparables is directed by Jérémie Degruson and follows a runaway puppet with boundless imagination and an abandoned stuffed animal toy in need of a friend as they cross paths in Central Park and pair up for an adventure of friendship in the big city.

Film Fest Gent has announced the new album Laurence Rosenthal – Music for Film and Television featuring music by recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s World Soundtrack Awards, including all-new studio recordings of selected scores by the composer performed by the Brussels Philharmonic and conducted by the festival’s music director Dirk Brossé. Titles featured on the album include Becket (for which he received an Academy Award nomination), The Miracle Worker, The Return of a Man Called Horse, Clash of the Titans and the miniseries Mussolini: The Untold Story.
‘Dicks: The Musical’ Soundtrack Album Details
A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Dicks: The Musical. The album features the original score from the musical comedy written by the film’s composers Marius de Vries (Moulin Rouge!, Coda) & Karl Saint Lucy and the original songs created by the composers and the movie’s writers/stars Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp (who co-wrote the music for the original stage play F***ing Identical Twins, on which the film is based). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 6 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first song (All Love Is Love performed by cast members Megan Mullally, Nathan Lane, Josh Sharp, Aaron Jackson & Bowen Yang) is already available to stream/download now and can also checked out after the jump.
‘Ariel Phenomenon’ Soundtrack Album Announced
String Theory Films has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Ariel Phenomenon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bright Eyes member Nathaniel Walcott (The Fault in Our Stars, The Stand), Henrik Åström (Child of Grace, The American Runestone), Galen Huckins of Blue Dot Sessions, as well as director Randall Nickerson. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 15. Radiofandango has released a soundtrack album for the Italian documentary Walls (Mur). The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorenzo Tomio (Dampyr, Everything Calls for Salvation, Leoni). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. ‘Yentl’ 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Columbia Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1983 musical drama Yentl co-written and directed by Barbra Streisand and starring Streisand herself, Mandy Patinkin and Amy Irving. The album features the Streisand-performed original songs from the movie written by Michel Legrand (The Thomas Crown Affair, Summer of ’42, Never Say Never Again The Umbrellas of Cherbourg) and featuring lyrics by Alan Bergman & Marilyn Bergman, including previously unreleased demos that Streisand recorded in her living room accompanied by Legrand on piano.
