Invada Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Grasshopper Republic. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Candyman, Telemarketers, Master). The soundtrack will be released digitally (click here to stream/download) and on vinyl on November 17. A first track (Daylight) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out after the jump. Grasshopper Republic is directed by Daniel McCabe and follows a local grasshopper trapping team in verité style, as these modern-day prospectors push into remote forests seeking their fortune by capturing this elusive prey. The documentary premiered at this year’s Visions du Réel and screened at various film festivals over the last few months.
