The film’s original music is composed by Kubilay Uner (Force of Nature, Big Sur, Gone Are the Days). Opening in select theaters before premiering on VOD on Tuesday, June 1 is the French/American drama Port Authority written and directed by Danielle Lessovitz and starring Leyna Bloom, Fionn Whitehead and McCaul Lombardi. The film’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Disobedience, The Cave, The Beast Must Die). The movie, which follows a woman who travels to New York City and finds romance with a transgender woman, premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and is being released in the U.S. by Momentum Pictures.
Also opening in select U.S. theaters and on VOD is the Swedish/Canadian horror thriller Funhouse written and directed by Jason William Lee and starring Valter Skarsgard, Christopher Gerard and Gigi Saul Guerrero. Blake Matthew (Infection) has composed the film’s original music. 3 Piece & A Soda has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in Sweden.
