Premiering tomorrow, September 16, on Fox is the new mystery adventure drama Sleepy Hollow created by Alex Kurtzman & Bob Orci (Star Trek, Transformers), Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) & Phillip Iscove and starring Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, John Cho and Katia Winter. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Fast Five, Now You See Me) is composing the score for the series, which is based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s Detective Abbie Archer to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Premiering on Tuesday, September 17, is the new comedy Dads created by Seth MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild (Ted, Family Guy, A Million Ways to Die in the West) and starring Seth Green, Giovanni Ribisi, Martin Mull, Peter Reigert, Brenda Song, Vanessa Lachey and Tonita Castro. The show’s music is composed by The Ryan Brothers. Dads follows two successful guys in their mid-30s, whose relatively stable lives get turned upside down when their inappropriate and pain-in-the-neck patriarchs move in. Also premiering on Tuesday on Fox is the new comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine created by Dan Goor & Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) and starring Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz and Chelsea Peretti. Dan Marocco (Brotherhood, NTSF: SD:SUV, the upcoming Demonic) is composing the score for the show. Premiering in the US on Friday, September 20 on PBS as part of Great Performances is the mini-series The Hollow Crown: Shakespeare’s History Plays. The series of new film adaptations of Shakespeare plays includes Richard II directed by Rupert Goold, starring Ben Whishaw, Patrick Stewart, Jame Purefoy, Clemence Poesy, David Suchet, Rory Kinnear and David Morrissey and featuring music by Adam Cork (Macbeth). The following two weeks, PBS will air Henry IV, Part 1 & 2 directed by Richard Eyre, starring Jeremy Irons, Tom Hiddleston and Simon Russell Beale and featuring a score by Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love). The final in the series is Henry V directed by Thea Sharrock, starring Tom Hiddleston and Simon Russell Beale and scored by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane).
