Opening semi-wide in around 700 theaters is the stop-motion animated feature The Inventor written and directed by Jim Capobianco, co-directed by Pierre-Luc Granjon and starring Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Stephen Fry and Matt Berry. Alex Mandel (Your Friend the Rat, Super Giant Robot Brothers) has composed the film’s original score and songs. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs today. The film’s original score is composed by Jason Brandt (Teen Titans Go!, Christmas Wonderland). No word on a score release. Opening in New York and Los Angeles today before expanding to more markets next weekend and nationwide on September 29 is the comedy drama Dumb Money directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Paul Dano, Pete Davidson, Nick Offerman, America Ferrera, Vincent D’Onofrio, Shailene Woodley, Anthony Ramos,Sebastian Stan and Seth Rogen. Will Bates (The Magicians, I Origins, Away, Unbelievable, The Path, Bliss, The Looming Tower) has composed the film’s originals score. No soundtrack album has been announced yet.
