Jongnic Bontemps (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Redfall, My Name Is Pauli Murray, 4400, United Skates, Wedding Season, World’s Best) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Madea’s Destination Wedding. The movie is written and directed by Tyler Perry (The Six Triple Eight, For Colored Girls) and stars Perry himself, Cassi Davis Patton, David Mann, Taja V. Simpson, Tamela Mann, Diamond White, Xavier Smalls, Jermaine Harris, Walnette Santiago and Brandon Sutton. The comedy marks the tenth installment in the Madea feature series and follows the title character as she packs her best floral dresses and a whole lot of chaos when the Simmons family heads to the Bahamas for her grandniece’s whirlwind wedding. Perry is also producing the project with Angi Bones (Straw, Tyler Perry’s Duplicity) and Yolanda T. Cochran (Gray Matter). Madea’s Destination Wedding will premiere on July 11, 2025 exclusively Neflix.
