Silva Screen Records has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama The Gold. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Simon Goff (Waves). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2023. The Gold is written by Neil Forsyth and stars Hugh Bonneville, Charlotte Spencer, Emun Elliott, Stefanie Martini, Tom Cullen, Sam Spruell, Tom Hughes, Joshua McGuire, Stephen Campbell Moore, Tamsin Topolski, Joshua Samuels, Jack Lowden and Rochelle Neil. The new season of series inspired by the true story of the 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery and the decades-long chain of events that followed just premiered in the UK today on BBC One. No word yet on a domestic release date.
